I ordered 2 sizes at the same time, in case one size went out of stock before I could get one returned, so I could make sure I got the right size. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 in shoes, but you never know when you're buying online. These are true to size, and the size 8s are going back. Love these boots so much! I've had good success in the lifestride brand of shoes holding up well, so the boots were definitely worth a shot. They zip up on the side, so getting my foot into the boot opening wasn't a problem. (If you have wide feet, it may not be as easy for you, but well worth the trying.) Zipper works just fine on both boots. Love the look of this boot, and they were comfortable to walk around in. They're not real leather, but I live in FL, so I don't expect to wear them that often. At least, not enough to make the cost worth it to buy real leather ones. It does get a little cold in the winter months, so they'll be good to have when it does. For the price, they were worth it to me (got them on sale for $42!). I had issues with them flopping up and down in the back, hitting the bottom of my ankles, and tightness at the toe. I have thin feet and a high arch. Generally wear socks anyway, but had to wear socks with these to prevent some flopping and stop them from hitting the ankles. They were a bit tough to put on with socks. The padding in the bottom of the boot is comfortable and has nice arch support. The upper part of the boot is thin. They came packaged nicely. The $60 price tag is a bit steep. My daughter has wider feet and wears the same size shoe as myself. They fit her alright, only going up and down in the back a little. ... show more

I first ordered these shoes a couple years ago and LOVED them. After a year and a half, I wore them out. Makes sense. So I ordered another pair. I received the new pair at the beginning of March. By the end of May, this had happened. The heels were completely shredded. The manufacturer requires that you ship them the shoes at your own expense with no guarantee of a refund. I'm honestly really sad about this because I adore these shoes and now I can't trust that they'll hold up longer than a couple months. I'd love if the company could accept these pictures, say "Yeah, that's not normal," and ship me another pair. But I'm not going out of my way and spending $20 in shipping, only to get an answer weeks from now that might be "Tough luck." ... show more
