I used this canvas for a do-it-yourself project, it was the perfect size to cover 30x30” canvas to put into a frame with excess material. And it was great that it came in a 2 pack because I had two frames to cover. I had my baby walk on the cloth with paint on his feet and it held well. It did seep through so I had to clean the floor if you plan to use this for painting I’m not sure if this is a good choice. However, for my project, it was perfect. The material was not too thick, but not too heavy easy to cut easy to staple. It came in the package with wrinkles in it so I did have to steam it to get it to be smooth. The color was also really perfect for my project. I’m very happy with it!

Sturdy Material for Crafts, But Probably Too Thin for Runny Paint I actually used these drop cloths to make a dog bed, and the material held up way better than I expected. It’s soft enough to sew through and shape, but still strong and durable once it’s put together. No tearing, no weird fraying, and it’s been holding up to daily use from a very lively dog. That said, after working with the fabric up close, I don’t think these would be the best choice for any painting project where the paint is thin or runny. The cloth is on the lighter side, and I can see it soaking through if you aren’t careful. For basic coverage or dust protection they’d be fine, but for anything messy, I’d layer them or go thicker. For crafting, pet projects, or light protection, they’re solid. Just not the heavy-duty paint barrier some people might expect.

I purchased this extremely large canvas drop cloth to wrap my Turkish rug. I had purchased a beautiful one from Turkey over the summer, but didn't want to put it down until we redid our floors. I did some research and was told to wrap it in a breathable cloth. So this is what I purchased. It's extremely large, and thick enough (but not too thick). There's no noticeable smell to it. I was able to wrap the rug fully, but loosely, so that helped. It is hopefully offering the protection my rug needs. Overall, it was wasy to use, and appears to be holding up well. Happy with the purchase.
