I'm mainly using the plastic blade for removing vinyl wallpaper with a heat gun in my motorhome. WOW Works awesome. I would highly recommend anyone needing the same job done, use this. It's a great convenient size and easy to use. It fits my hand well. I can get a good grip on it while reaching over my head haha. I didn't drop it once. Well, maybe once. ;-) UPDATE: I've found another fantastic use for this. For some reason, in motorhomes, they put the thick sponge-type double sided tape to hold backsplash & mirrors. I really like the scraper. It was very easy to hold. I did not slip even once while holding this. I also like how easy it is to load a new blade in, which is very necessary since I had to use five blades for my task. This scraper was able to remove all of them burnt on grease stains that no other product would come close to. This thing is the only tool that worked. I tried this product on my whirlpool gas stove that had burnt on grease stains that cumulated for 9 years. It was so hard that no product would ever come close removing any of it. I tried several degreasers and scrubbers but it could only touch the very surface. The metal blades are very sharp it remove the burnt on grease stains. It did take me a while. Somehow it didn’t scratch my range at all. This is amazing. You also should use us alongside with decreasers to help soften the grease. The plastic razor blades are also very convenient. It is great for removing candlewax, hardened sauce, labels from packaging, etc. i’m glad these also came with plastic razor blades. ... show more

Very sharp, metal blades are on the thinner side but still work fine just don’t use very heavy pressure. Plastic blades work amazing and durable. Easy to replace blades and lock them down.

Because of the center screw the plastic blade can shift and dislodge a little making it not scrape as well and preventing the cap from being replaced until you fix it.
