I purchased the Utopia Bedding Quilted Fitted Mattress Pad, Queen Size, Elastic Fitted Mattress Topper Protector to help get the bumps out of my bed. My old was was getting worn out and I could feel the springs through it. It came in a plastic bag and was compressed. I washed it before putting on and it didn't seem to hurt it any. It fit my queen size mattress just right, I was worried that it wouldn't fit because the mattress was so thick, but I didn't have any problem. With my old one I accidently bought one that had a waterproof liner, that I had to cut out because it made me too hot. For those of you looking for a cover that isn't waterproof this is a good choice. I didn't notice any smell and it looks nice. It isn't really thick, but it isn't too thin either, if you are looking for something to just give the mattress a little protection this is a good purchase. I don't feel the springs of the mattress and it seems like a pretty good quality cover for the cost. I get a better night's sleep because I no longer feel the springs! I would purchase this product again.

I bought this to replace a heavy, bulky mattress cover. The old one was so bulky for a Q size, it barely fit in my machine. This one is super soft and the fabric is light. It fits very well in the machine, so I don't hesitate to wash it often like I did my other one.

Have not seen a zipper but easy to put on mattress. I hope it is waterproof lol haven’t had a chance to find out yet. I feel like my sleep quality is good with it. I got it for extra security between the sheet and mattress and so far it has delivered that perfectly. It is comfortable and I don’t have back pain so maybe it is good for pain relief.

The packaging said the product was compressed for shipping and to shake vigorously for 5 minutes to return the loft. Is this true for a mattress cover or more targeted at comforters? After shaking for 5 minutes and 25 minutes in the dryer, it didn't fluff any more than when removing from air tight shipping bag. Other than the misleading generic instructions, I like it, matches my linens and comforter. The padding is absolutely minimal.

It doesn't make any noise from my experience, and it completely is able to cover the mattress. Ive had no issues with it sliding off of the mattress and it even helps to hold my normal bed sheets in place on top of it, so I have far less issues with fighting with bedding. So far it seems durable, and there's no smell or anything that I experienced.

If I needed a new mattress I would probably get MLILY brand again, but wavered between medium firm and firm and chose medium to be on the safe side. When I got it, it felt great compared to my old mattress. After a couple of months I felt I needed the firm mattress instead. So I bought a topper. BUT, I still think this mattress was the right choose, I myself think the firm would have been a better choose. The company and delivery were great. I would buy from them again, but I would get the firm.
