I bought this because I need to seal cellophane. I had originally tried my old Seal-A-Meal but it was way too hot for the purpose. I test sealed a piece of cellophane on setting two and it worked perfectly on the first try. You have to watch the light because as soon as it goes out, the seal is done and this happens very fast. I have found that it is necessary to mark the cellophane in order to line it up properly for a straight seal. The unit is sturdy and heavy and looks like it will last a long time. ... show more
