The fabric is that brushed microfiber, so it feels really soft against your skin, not stiff or scratchy like some cotton ones can be. My absolute favorite part is the zipper closure. I used to have a cover with buttons that constantly popped open, so the zipper is a huge upgrade and keeps everything tucked inside nicely. It also has ties in the corners to hold the comforter in place, which stops it from bunching up comfortably. I have been using this bedding for the past 3 months and really enjoy it! You can tell that it’s microfiber and not the best quality ever, but it’s very comfortable and has held up well. I tend to run warm at night but I don’t feel like the material makes me too hot. I use it with an all weather duvet insert (I also size up for the insert to make it fluffier). There are plenty of corner tabs to tie the duvet to and I haven’t had any issues with the insert shifting. So far no pilling and it’s easy to wash ... show more

I've never owned a duvet cover in my life, but I do own 2 white comforters and 2 dogs who insist on sleeping in the bed with me. I bought this so that I didn't have to wash my comforter every day, and for a first time user, it wasnt too difficult to figure out. The zipper is good quality, and the corner ties seem to be also, but I dont have a use for them. The shams were also well made. It fits the smaller/thinner of my comforters with room so I have no doubts it'll fit the bulkier one. Its a thinner almost sheet like texture which is great for not adding too much warmth in the summer. The color is okay. I came back to the listing to compare what I thought i was getting with what I got and it is pretty true to whats shown. Its just a little brighter of an emerald color. Not a deal breaker though and it still looks really nice. I ran it through the washer before putting it on my bed and it was simple to clean on a regular cycle.
