First of all this company had very good customer service when I called them to ask a question before I bought it. Someone answered the phone quickly, and gave me all the information I needed. You don't necessarily get this with other companies, so this is a big plus, and the very nice woman who I spoke with told me that if I have any problems installing it, give her a call and she would help. I am not a super experienced handyman, but I can generally do little projects around the house by myself, especially things that require, as this does, drilling, measuring, and mounting on the wall. I had never installed a TV mount, and I will say that when you first look at the instructions they are somewhat daunting. I did have a few questions regarding the instructions, but I took my best guess as to what they were saying, and did end up installing it correctly. So my only criticism is not with the mount itself, but with the instructions which I found somewhat confusing. But there were only a couple of things that I didn't quite understand. I probably would have called customer support, but I was doing it late on Sunday night! Lol. I would recommend you install it during business hours in case you need help! But I like the way it mounts the tv - it is a very good design - and I did it without any help, and I'm happy with the results. Also if you have any experience with a previous TV mount, it is going to be much easier for you. I know I could do a second one in about 1/3 the time now that I have done one. The one thing I will tell you is to *buy a stud finder that shows you the edges of the studs!* I used a magnet to find the nails and then draw a vertical line straight down based on the average of where the nails were. But I had some worry over whether or not I was going to hit the middle of the stud where these fairly large and long screws go in to hold up the mount for the TV. So my number one piece of advice regarding installing this mount is to buy one of those stud finders that shows you the edges of the stud. I didn't know these existed or I would have bought one long ago. Anyway I am very happy with this mount and would buy again from this company. (I did buy their soundbar Mount as well and found it equally good.) A+ product and customer service! Highly recommended!     • Nice bracket
I used this bracket to hang my Sony Bravia XR 42" A90K. The TV is on the light side (17 lbs) but the bracket seems sturdy enough to handle heavier and larger TVs. The ONLY issue was that the studs in our wall were so far apart that the bracket was almost not wide enough. I'd suggest measuring the width of yours first, just to be sure. Installation was a snap. It took my wife and I about an hour all told. The TV is now high enough on the bedroom wall (compared to when it was on its stand) that our necks don't hurt now when we watch it. If you can handle a socket wrench, an electric drill for the pilot holes, a level (included) and can read directions, you should be able to mount this yourself. ... show more

I have purchased this brand before on Amazon, it was a swivel mount. Worked great and had a very robust build quality. I didn't need anything fancy for this TV just a straight mount so I purchased this. It's not very expensive so it's not very sturdy feeling, it did the job well with a 55" TV but it was thin and only weighed 35 lbs. It's rated up to a 90" TV... I would challenge that. ... show more

very sturdy construction and mounting. comes with a tiny level, and a hex key/screw driver. the only things you will need are a drill and a drill bit for the surface you are mounting it to. Drywall is fine but make sure to use studs not just into the drywall carelessly
