These would be great for camping or when you need a little light and don't want to carry a flashlight around. I recently used one to light the nightstand next to the bed as I stayed at a short-term rental. Prefering not to use an overhead light we can now use one of these beauties by hanging it on a hook magnet or set it on the back of the loo. Plenty of light but not too much. I use these in 3D printed lanterns as night lights. I use the magnetic dot to attach upside down - makes it easier to remove for recharging. I set the lights on low (not the red, but first click white) and set them in the room. The light last about 12 hours - plenty of time and brightness for a night light. I have used in the lanterns for about 2 months - the lights still charge, still last the ~12 hours time frame. It has been perfect for my purpose, I would recommend but of course it depends on what you are looking to do with them. ... show more

Interesting things come in small packages. We never knew this kind of light existed. We happened upon it while looking for some sort of small lights that we could put into a solar garden light as an alternative to make it indoor friendly. These fit the bill exactly. They’re small, magnetic for a metal lantern, and rechargeable, which is better than all the other tiny décor lights we saw that use up batteries. We picked the changing colors just to be decorative and it worked out because they’re not bright enough to emit usable light. They just rotate ambient pretty colors. Our lantern could use a brighter light that would be equivalent to its solar output, so maybe someday we’ll order the white version of this little light that promises to be brighter for practical uses. Even though our use is simply decorative, we can see how the lights are practical because of the described features. They’re easy to charge, easy to use, and come with the range of accessories as described. We were surprised so many accessories were packed in the small box. But all those hooks and ties and sticky pads make the handy little light good for many uses. One charge has lasted several evenings of glowing, so we hope the lights will hold up for a while. I’ve had them plugged in , charged . One didn’t work , i had to use the other plug in . Working now , the light only lasts about 30 mins and will need another charge .

This has turned out to be one of the more often used items I have. It’s the perfect amount of light when you need “just enough light” in a small area. The bright setting seems surprisingly bright to me which is great because they’re small and easy to carry. I found them very easy to use and intuitive. They are well made and represent a good value for the price. I recharge them several times now. I would say I get easily eight hours of battery life on the lower of the two light settings. Not very bright and short battery life. Put on top of trike flag pole and could barely see it flashing red in daylight. Battery only lasted 4 hours. For the good things.
