The media could not be loaded. This mic has been great for not only my professional meetings but also for my night hustles recording instructional videos online. No need to worry about damage from warehouse to my house since this is protected in layered polystyrene black foam that has cut outs for each section of this microphone. No tools are required for assembly or to use the clamp style mounting on to my sit stand work from home desk. The mic is automatically driver found and installs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines. I can not vouch for Mac or any other Operating System or gaming console. The mic will appear in windows audio as ZINGYOU ZY-UA2 Audio Device for MS Teams, Zoom, and in my OBS Studio. I have also used this mic for voiceovers with both Da Vinci Resolve and CyberLink PowerDirector 365 software. The microphone setup included a spit foam cover but it hides the gold bling that I enjoy showing off while on video for work meetings. The logo Zingyou lettering must be facing towards your mouth to take advantage of the cardioid microphone. The large pop filter is large enough to cover the entire microphone to reduce those loud puffs of air with certain words especially when I am in a heated discussion or had too much red bull and enthusiasm during a recording session. The mic does not have buttons such as mute or adjustments since this is all done on the connected computer. The cable is the standard USB2.0 B end that connects to the microphone and USB A to the computer port. I can easily remove the mic from the shock mount by pinching together the two longer prongs and use this in handheld mode. The base is a pyramid dome which looks sleek and makes for a cleaner desktop than an ugly exposed clamp round post.

I got this for Zoom and Teams meetings as an upgrade over headset or laptop mics. Setup was plug and play on my PC. Very minor assembly was simple. The mic itself looks decent and has excellent sound for my use. I don’t know if it would be good for anything needing high production value but it’s a big jump above a laptop mic. The arm is ok. Mounting is simple and solid but not adaptable to a many different dash setups. I wanted to mount it above but it wasn’t very stable with the way the arm works. I can swing it side to side to get it out if the way when not in use but moving it up and down doesn’t work very well. A definite upgrade for my remote office and it was a cheap way to explore the value of a setup like I have. That noted, after a few months I still like it but I am exploring upgrades. A better arm with more options to adapt, maybe better ability to mount it above and more stability and it would be five stars. For the money it’s an excellent value. Zero complaints on function for talking in meetings. (It was recommended to me by a sound tech for what that’s worth.)

For the value its one of the better microphones ive had. The sound quality isnt "podcast quality" but if your just talking on discord and gaming, i would have to highly reccomend this microphone. In addition to that, having the mic boom included makes it really good for someone who is just getting into this kind of thing. Its very sturdy and does a really good job.

I ordered this budget Quality mic and the first one came a little defective but ZinghYoudirect responded same day and sent me a replacement the very next day, it arrived two days after the faulty one arrived which is insanely fast to make right a little mistake. It plugs in and plays, no drivers needed to download. If you set the filters on obs I can’t tell the difference between this mic and audio-technica I purchased for $190. It picks up directional sound which is great for the mic to sit off to the side while streaming, the wind socks and spit guard it comes with help with ambient sound mitigation. I would recommend this mic to my friends and family for price to function to aesthetics.
