AWESOME!! This docking station works with my brand new phone (Samsung S25, with DeX docking enabled), work with my desktop and laptop. I connected all: my HDMI monitor/tv (Hisense 4K 58 inch), and a USB bank with my mouse and keyboard on it. AND, I connected the power USB-C for my phone. IT ALL WORKED GREAT!! I was so amazed, as I normally have to have a hiccup/problem, but not this time. I highly, highly recommend this connector/docking station.

First clue that maybe this was misleading: There is NOWHERE on the actual product package that even MENTIONS the Nintendo Switch. Despite the fact that the Amazon store page touts it as the defining feature of this adapter - and the primary reason I bought it. But despite how much they play up that this is for the Nintendo Switch, the product packaging does not mention the Switch in any form. It mentions compatibility with Widnows, Mac and Google and that it "supports synchronization of video and audio play". So does it work on the Nintendo Switch? Not even slightly. My first generation switch recognizes that a device was plugged in to the USB and detects an "audio device" but the Switch does not go into docking mode and not one of my three different displays (TV and monitors) detected any video output. The Switch basically just thinks this is maybe an audio adapter at best. Flipping the USB-C over does nothing. Trying different HDMI cables does nothing. Plugging in the official Nintendo Switch Power adapter, as per their suggestion...doesn't seem to affect it in any way (the blue power light in on regardless of external power). So basically this is a huge scam. Likely the store page on Amazon was designed to make up a bunch of claims about being compatible with the Nintendo Switch in order to move units. Clearly the actual product has no compatibility nor was it intended to, based on the simple fact that it makes no such claim on the packaging. I don't even know who makes this product or if the seller here on Amazon is just acting as a reseller or not, but either was this is a ripoff. Don't buy it. Does it at least work for Samsung DEX or something like that? I don't know, because I didn't bother testing that, nor do I even care to. I bought it to work with the Nintendo Switch and it doesn't work for it like the seller says, so regardless of what it actually DOES do, I don't think its right to give these people money if they are going to outright lie and scam buyers. Don't buy this. Seriously. Its being returned immediately and I'm getting my money back. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

Pretty slick so far. Usually you can't run power and video through these or they get crazy hot. I'll drop to 4 stars if I notice that, but for the price, working great.

I have a weekend cabin and use this to quickly connect my MacBook Air to the monitor, wireless keyboard/mouse, and speakers when I am there. The single USB-C connection to the MacBook provides all the video, audio and USB connectivity through this device, and it even powers the MacBook when I have it connected to USB-C power adapter of sufficient wattage. It is easy to connect and disconnect with the one cable.
