I purchased the USB to HDMI adapter to stream movies from the website 'Movies HD+' using a Samsung S7 tablet to connect USB to HDMI via the adapter to a standard 40 inch 1080 TV monitor. So far, it works great, the video is excellent and the audio is clear. Of course, the movies are streamed over Wi-Fi. NOTE The movie app, 'Movies HD+', can be found on Googly Play. I don't know how they do it, but there are a ton of movie offers and many of them are current features - watched "Jungle Cruise" on the day it was released to the theatres! Watched 'Raiders of the Lost Arch' last night. As far as I can tell, I'm not being charged for these movies - I hope - haven't yet seen a charge on my credit card? Good Luck... ... show more

    • Works Samsung S22 Ultra DEX & Pass Through!
After buying and returning 3 other hubs, this is the only one that worked 1) With no flickering and seamless connectivity 2) Truely supported pass through fast charging. I plugged in a 45W charger and I can fast charge my S22 while enjoying DEX. This is really useful. Other hubs wouldn't charge the phone correctly, they were saying 23 hours to charge. With this hub and my super fast Samsung charger it's the usual 50 minutes full charge. I have a Bixby routine to enable charging battery protection when I enable DEX and it makes it really useful. Only problem is that there's only 1 usb port, I wish there was two. But since this is so cheap, just buy a USB hub and you'll be fine. ... show more

I bought this on a whim to play with the Dex capabilities of my Samsung phone. It's turned out to be one of the most useful pieces of extra gear in my bag. It's built really well and all the connections are nice and tight. It's been great for connecting lots of devices to external displays, including when I attended an event with folks who had laptops with only USB C, in rooms that only had HDMI and Displayport dongles. The card reader has proven to be great to have around too. By the end of that meeting, folks were asking me for the link to buy one for themselves. As for the reason I bought it, Dex works flawlessly when I plug it in, and the USB C input allows me to plug a quick-charging adapter in as well. This thing is awesome! Take your OEM charger, plug it into this device, connect it to your phone and a TV. Done. No apps to download, no changes to settings. Phone charges while in use! Phone will launch pre-installed Samsung DEX mode which acts like a PC. The phone's screen will become a trackpad mouse. I also plugged in my Logitech wireless USB/keyboard pill into the USB port it and it also worked immediately. Took it on vacation and plugged it into the tv in my hotel room. Not all apps will support fullscreen mode. You need to provide your own standard HDMI cable to get started, and who doesn't have at least 5 lying around :) ... show more

Pro: Icy cold matte finish aluminum feels very nice. As a photographer I Can Transfer Rdit and Post Picture & Video from Camera very easily. Fast USB 3.0 Type C ports and many adapter in one package.     • Works as expected
It's been working as expected allowing me to use my Samsung S6 in Dex mode. Has lasted longer than my other adapter which started having display issues after a couple months use. Although it doesn't fast charge my Samsung S6 it does charge faster than it drains.
