    • Did not work with my MacBook Pro and Dell!
Very disappointed to say that it did not work with my MacBook Pro 2017 and Dell P2415Q. The Dell monitor just says "No DisplayPort Cable" after I connect it. I'm pretty sure the display port on the monitor and USB C port on the mac are working just fine and something is wrong with the cable. Bought the other one from Plugable, works just fine. you get what you pay for avoid this cheap rubbish. Save your money and time. ... show more

This USB-C to display port cable came in a zip tight bag which was easy to open. The cable itself had caps on both ends to protect it plus a protective wrap around the ends. I've had no issue connecting my 2018 Mac mini and my new Philips 278E 4K monitor. There were many choices for this cable, many costing a lot more. I went with this one because it was less, has a long warranty and I could get it sooner. So far, no complaints. ... show more

    • Stopped working after 6 months
This worked fine for a while on my 2017 MBP and then I moved offices and it started getting a little flaky. Then I re-arranged my monitors and it stopped working for the most part and when I switched it demo now monitor to the other it was just dead. Maybe if I had never plugged it I would have been OK :) ... show more

It does 4K with my MacBook. I’m not sure how to confirm it’s working at 60Hz, but I’ve tested it with 60p videos and it looks good to me. I can’t test audio, but this is my second CableCreation product and both are pretty solid, so I personally trust it should work as advertised.     • Works great, display images are very clear and sharp.
I have two identical monitors placed side by side, one is hooked up to my laptop utilizing this USC C > Display Adapter cable, the other with a regular HDMI cable. This converter cable gives a sharper clearer image (slightly) then the HDMI cable. I would effeminately buy this cable again.

Works just like it should, connects the new Mac Pro with the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 connections to an external monitor that has an HDMI connection. Note that HDMI carries audio as well as video. You're computer may automagically switch the audio output to the monitor through this cable to the monitor speakers (if it has them), which might be what you want to have happen anyway. Otherwise, you'll need to go into system settings or control panel on your computer and specify the preferred output. That "feature" is not a fault of this cable itself, it's as expected for an HDMI connection. ... show more
