I bought this for my Mac Air, two monitors, wired mouse, wired keyboard and printer. The installation was very simple and the hub works well. My only concern was that when I put the Mac to sleep and then woke it up, my wired mouse and/or keyboard would often not work and I would have to mess around with USB ports and restart the computer. I contacted the support line by email and got very helpful and timely information from Anita of Support. I followed her instructions and the dock has been consistently waking up ready to go. The TOBENONE docking station is small and unobtrusive and offers expandability too lacking in the MacBook Pro. All ports are clearly marked and work as described. I deducted a star because, although it never claimed it could, its station cannot charge or even recognize an iPhone or iPad connected to the front USB-C port on the front of the unit. To access either device, I must first disconnect the docking station (which uses both C ports on the MacBook Pro) and then connect either iPhone or iPad.     • Easy, user friendly, all ports that could be needed!
I have been a professional photographer the past 13 years and in 2024, I really wanted to streamline my work station. I had other docks which failed me and could not handle the load of large external hard drives, mulitple needs for ports, etc. I went with the Tobenone based on the reviews. It worked wonderfully paired with my large external monitor, Macbook Pro, and the need for several external hard drives as back up. I have recently upgraded to an even newer tobenone model, but this was sufficient for my needs. It also is a great way to keep a clean and streamlined desk.
