Been running this dock for a month on a Framework 13 (TB4) with a TB3 eGPU off the second Thunderbolt port. First boot threw a USB address error – turned out to be stale laptop drivers, nothing to do with the dock. Zero special drivers required for the UDS057 itself, just keep your system current. Once sorted, I put it through a pretty thorough workout: USB-C and USB-A ports for both data and charging across multiple devices, HDMI running concurrently with the eGPU across separate displays, and the 3.5mm jack driving my main desktop speakers daily. No dropouts, no conflicts, no complaints. Also ran it on a GPD Win4 handheld as an IO expander – worked immediately, no fuss. The build quality deserves a mention. It feels genuinely substantial – not the hollow, creaky plastic you sometimes get at this price point. It sits confidently on a desk and the port layout is well thought out. For what you're paying, it's hard to fault. Honestly, TobenONE doesn't get the attention it deserves. This dock is a direct competitor to what UGreen and Anker are putting out, and in some respects it goes toe to toe without asking you to pay a brand premium. If you're shopping in this space and skipping past TobenONE, you're leaving a good option on the table. This is my new daily driver. Highly recommended.

This USB-C docking station has totally streamlined my MacBook Pro setup. Plugging in just one cable instantly adds dual monitor support, which has been a game changer for productivity. The displays connect easily and stay stable, no fussing with settings every time I reconnect. The extra ports are a lifesaver. Between the USB-A and USB-C slots, I can keep my external drive, keyboard, mouse, and other accessories all plugged in at once. Charging through the dock is fast and keeps my desk uncluttered. Great Product! I've used it a couple days now and have no complaints at all. I've got 3 HDMI Monitors, a Wireless Keyboard, Wireless Mouse, Speakers & a Webcam all plugged into it and there's been no issues and no lag. The Unit is Compact and Stylish and the connectivity was very easy! Other reviews mention the lack of a power supply, but I don't know why that would be needed...I just connected my laptop power supply to the Dock and then used the additional USB-C Cable that was provided with the Dock to connect from the Docking Station to my Laptop and the laptop gets power and data connectivity all through that one cable, so there should be no need for an additional power cable. Overall I think this is a great product at a very good price! I would recommend to any of my friends looking for a product like this.

**Update** Their customer support reached out to me regarding the the failing dock and offered to provide a replacement dock which they sent out very quickly. That was very nice of them to do especially when it wasn't what I was expecting. I've bumped up a star in the review due to their good customer support and attention to customer satisfaction. ____________________ I purchased this device back in January 2024 and it worked pretty flawlessly with the Macbook I had connected to it. When it's working it's very convenient to only have to plug the dock to the laptop and have my 2nd monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset automatically connect with the laptop. But now after a little over 2 years, the usb ports have started to fail and the dock will only recognize the HDMI connection. In order to get the dock to work correctly, I have to unplug and plug the dock to the laptop multiple times until the usb ports are recognized. For a product that is over $100, I would expect it to last longer than 2 years. As I mentioned earlier in my review, when the dock works, it's great. But now that it's starting to fail, the money spent on this device might not be worth it.

I bought the TobenOne 18 docking station primarily to the connect three monitors to my PC but I'm also running my LAN connection, speakers, and printer/scanner. I also chose this model because it has three HDMI ports. I wrote this review on 4/5/2026 and this unit has been powered on since 1/14/2026. I've had to restart it a couple of times after taking my PC out of sleep mode to activate two of the monitors. Otherwise it has functioned well with no other issues. The unit is housed in an vented metal enclosure and does get a bit warm sometimes but this hasn't impacted it's performance. I have it positioned vertically on my desk so that all four vents are unblocked. Setting it up is easy. Simply plug in the power adapter followed by the supplied USB C cable to the PC. Then connect the remaining peripheral components. My laptop is powered through this docking station. It is connected to a USB port on the PC that has the lightning feature. When the power is setup this way, the power adapter must be able to provide sufficient power for both the docking station and the PC.

Purchased in February 2026. At first, I had intermittent connection issues that I assumed were caused by my laptop. Over time, the problems got worse and started interrupting my work. I replaced both the HDMI and USB-C cables, but nothing improved. When I finally removed the hub and connected everything directly to my laptop, All of the connection issues were gone. It appears the issues were with the hub and not my laptop. Not even two months after installing it, I realized this was just an expensive headache. Definitely not worth your time or money. Edited: I purchased this in February 2025 and experienced intermittent connectivity issues from the start. At first, they were occasional, but over time they became frequent enough to disrupt my workflow. I attempted to return the product, but unfortunately I was just outside Amazon’s return window. I then contacted TobenONE to share my experience—not expecting compensation, but simply to make them aware of potential issues with their product. They informed me the item was covered under a two-year warranty, which I appreciated. However, what followed was a long back-and-forth of basic troubleshooting instructions (mostly reiterating how to plug in cables), an offer to send a replacement, and eventually a refund—one that has proven unnecessarily difficult to actually receive. As of today, a refund has been offered but not completed, and the process to obtain it has been far more complicated than it should be. I would be cautious about purchasing from this company unless you’ve had prior positive experience with their products and support.

I use a Macbook Pro 16" (2019 edition, not M1) for work, and spend the vast majority of my time working from home. I need 2 external monitors, external microphone, headphones, and webcam at minimum, because I'm pulled into video conferences all the time. This unit is festooned with audio, Micro/standard SD card, USB-C, and USB-A ports, all of which are labeled as to type and speed factors. Best of all (and for some reason, hardest to find in a hub of this sort - TWO HDMI slots without running cumbersome drivers that bog down your Mac! The cost of making this work is a dual USB-C connector, but they provide one that is precisely fitted to plug into your Macbook, so you still have the convenience of putting your Macbook down on the desk, plugging in one thing, and being ready to go. They added a nice additional feature this time - a slot for a solid state drive (SSD) that fits into the cabinet. This drive slot makes for a great natural home for the Mac OS "time machine" feature to keep your disk backed up (you should ideally have iCloud or some other service backing up your data, but there's no such thing as too many backups). Read the product specs for what kind of drive you need to be compatible. I'm using a PNY 500 GB M.2 drive. Physical installation is straightforward: pop the drive out of the packaging, remove the top cover from the hub, pull the rubber fitting aside in the hub, and fit the card into the data slot. Then use the rubber fitting at the end to secure the drive at the end; it adjusts to fit the standard stick sizes. Slide the cover back and you're done - no tools required! You will probably find that you need to use disk tools to format the new drive, unless it happens to be formatted for Mac already. Use the Erase command in Disk Utility to do this. You'll also get a chance to name your drive in this step; I'd suggest giving it something meaningful so that you remember where this drive is. **Naturally, this erases anything that is already on the drive, so be careful if you're not using a new drive!** Note that the presence of an SSD (or any kind of drive, including a USB thumb drive, SD card, or the like) means that if you turn the hub off or unplug your Mac without "ejecting" the drive from the operating system, file corruption can occur. As with any drive or device, it's a good idea to go through and eject all drives before removing them, turning off the hub, or unplugging your Macbook. Tobenone also provides great support. I had trouble making the 2nd monitor work at first, but they worked with me to troubleshoot this. They suggested trying a different dual USB-C cable, and offered to send me one. I happened to already have a spare, so I was able to go ahead and get it working. But I have looked at several of their products, and they have always been very responsive with responses to questions and tech support. Macbooks will drive you crazy with the lack of external ports and straightforward dual monitor support, unless you either spend a fortune on Apple "solutions" or buy a hub device like this one. This model ticks all my boxes and I look forward to using it!

This is a perfect, compact and high functioning Hub. I use 3 monitors at work so this hub works perfectly for what I need in the office. Easy setup: pretty much a plug and go and works exceptionally well. I love the additional High speed USB and USB-C ports to help charge any other devices I use and hook up my external camera. The only suggestion I have for anyone looking at this hub, is to buy a stand along power supply. This particular hub doe not come with a power supply, but TobenONE sells one that works really great.
