Works exactly as intended. I have 2 monitors hooked up to a 2022 MBPro M1 Max, + a mouse, a mini keyboard, a weird keyboard/controller hybrid, a flashdrive, and another docking station is attached TO THIS via USB 3.0, giving me even more space for ports (which i have another flashdrive and another mouse hooked into that docking station, and they work through this docking station). the only major flaw that I've dealt with is that for some reason the 3.5mm headphone jack did not work, i have a surround sound system with aux connect and for some reason it wouldn't play. I have that plugged directly into the MBPro. one other minor flaw, and this does not matter for me because I don't use SD cards or micro SD cards, but this docking station does not have an SD/Micro SD port, so if you need that, this is not the docking station for you (or maybe it is an you just need an additional SD adapter). it uses a double USB-C connection which I've never seen before, but it has 2 additional USB-C ports on it so you aren't losing anything, and you still have HDMI access on your computer. This also eliminates the need for power supply because its using 1 USB-C for power, 1 for data (I think). ... show more

5 stars after customer care! This dock had the right features at the right price. Nearly 2 years after purchase, I was having some connectivity issues with a USB-C webcam. After my own troubleshooting efforts led me to the dock being the issue, I reached out to customer care. They immediately (and I mean IMMEDIATELY) reached out to me with a personal (not boilerplate) request for more information and with some additional troubleshooting. They were patient with my schedule preventing my timely responses to their queries. When I was able to work on the issue again, they again were incredibly responsive and shipped an updated new replacement dock that was delivered in a few days. It works GREAT and I'm still quite satisfied with its features and functionality. Even more so, I am impressed with true customer care - something that's hard to come by these days. Plug and play with this device. I have a MacBook Pro (2020) and I was able to connect two external monitors through HDMI and still use the laptop monitor display. This worked perfectly and I am satisfied with my purchase totally.

Just to clarify if it is not stressed enough in the item title, this is Macbook Air and Macbook Pro only. The docking connector has two Thunderbolt connectors designed to match the left hand ports on a newer Macbook. It will not fit a PC or anything else that does not have the exact double port layout of their proprietary dual connector. I was hoping to use this with another laptop too, but their spacing on their connector will not fit anything other than a newer Macbook. It would have been nice if it did not force you to use the dual connector to dock and could use a single Thunderbolt 4 or 5 connector instead, but that is not how they designed this. ... show more

I'd searched for a good way to add dual monitors to my 2024 M4 MacBook Pro, and this is an interesting solution. It uses two USB connectors housed in a single unit that plug into the side of the MacBook simultaneously. It also supplies enough power to charge my Macbook. This makes it super easy to connect monitors and peripherals with just one cable. I liked this solution enough that I bought 2, one for the home and one for the office. I've grown to appreciate a smooth framerate, and I'll also note that while the specs showed that it would accommodate a 4K monitor at 60Hz, I was very happy that it also drives my 1440p monitors at 144Hz without any issues. I initially had issues with the connector on one of the units, but I was pleasantly surprised when I contacted their support. They solved the situation very quickly, were extremely responsive, and checked back in after they got me up and running to make sure everything was ok. Anita provided top-notch support, which was extremely welcomed for a brand that I wasn't familiar with. ... show more
