Lights are dim, but that’s might be perfect for the night when you don’t want it bothering you. Not so great during the daytime though, as it can be hard to tell if it’s plugged in correctly due to dimness. But the regular usb is 3.0 which makes any regular usb connection fast charging. The charger fits but it appears tempermental....sometimes it just doesn't work. I have to twist to get the light on BUT when it works, it's great. I like that it has two connectors, one USB and one C.
