Why did you pick this product vs others?: I decided to try this one and another. I would say right out of the gate, this one was easier because it’s on the paper backing that’s a larger size so the edge is so easy to peel !! I painted it with 2 coats and decided not to use it without cutting the edges off. If I need a larger piece I may not do that. I used pool noodle pieces to fill the holes a bit. Something that can be wedge in but doesn’t compress to lose it’s rigidity. I think it looks great but power washing may be tricky lol

*****Update****** I originally posted this as 1 star due to the incorrect quantity shipped but have since updated to 4 stars. Seller sent the additional items with an extra. I ordered three of their 12 pack of patches and only received 1. Their customer service number wasn’t working so I tried email. I did get a reply but it looks like the seller is not going to do the right thing and send the two packs that they shorted me. At least that’s what I can take away from their very short responses that I received. I’ll update this if something changes. The product itself seems pretty good. Easy to apply. It’s super thin so durability is questionable.

A very simple product but it met my expectations and is simply the best low cost option to repair vinyl siding I came across. I applied this to patch to cover a whole in my siding 10 months ago. It's gone through a Summer, Fall, and Winter in the Midwest (Missouri) so it's endured 103-degree heat and -5-degree winters, snow, ice, tornado like winds, 15 straight days of rain, and this product has held up through it all without any signs of wear and tear. Since it comes in white, you will need to paint it to blend in. Phenomenal value for a basic product which will save you a ton of money on home repairs if you delay using it!

WOW! First off I never write a review on anything- good or bad. But this product blew my mind! It is incredible! The siding on my house is white, so I didn't have to paint it which was also great. I had several large holes on the side of my house from hail damage, as well as some small holes here & there that just came with age, wear & tear. A few weeks ago I used the spray foam to "insulate" & fill the holes but then was stressing on trying to figure out what to do with them next. I found these patches & what a game changer. I cut off the extra (cured) foam & then gently sanded until it was smooth with the siding, wiped down the area to remove the dust, then followed the instructions with the siding patch. I'm telling you, my house almost looks brand new! You can not even see that any work has been done at all. It is so smooth, blends in perfectly, extremely easy to use & it leaves you with such a rewarding feeling seeing it done. The cost is so affordable & worth every penny. If your siding is white, you don't even have to paint because the color matches perfectly. This is hands down the greatest product I've used in many years! I'll take some pics & upload the before & after for you to see for yourself.

I had some big holes in the siding of my house(side and rear) and a couple small dime sized right and the front. Cut it so it was only slightly bigger and covered pefect for the small holes. The big ones look like a patch. Don't use them in a highly visible part of your house. Wanted my house to look perfect when we sold it, it sure did! The small holes were right by the address so you saw them first thing.

Does the job of patching vinyl siding only cosmetically. Doesn't offer strength to not to tear at hole again as the patches are very thin. You need to use duct tape first and then use this product for cosmetic finish then paint it. I did it, it even survived the power wash of the house.
