There are SO MANY OCCASIONS when you need a scraper or spreader that is not metal! And these fit the bill – stiff plastic that is pretty perfect for picking off paint drips, pressing caulk into a crevice, pressing filler into cracks (though I usually go with steel tools for that). These are great quality, and can be resharpened with a mill bastard file followed by a wood scraper (don't use sandpaper). I've got three sets of these, from different manufacturers. These are more flexible than others, which is good for certain applications (again, caulk, etc). The real reason I have three sets is that my garage is packed full of tools and I have a hard time finding things now. I believe my tools have achieved sentience, and are now able to hide themselves from me. That is the only reasonable explanation. ... show more
