It was shipped as two 50' rolls. My use was best suited to a continuous piece about 60' long, which is why I had ordered a 100' roll in the first place (I already had 50' rolls). I ended up having to splice with tape, which I had hoped to avoid.

My carport is now nice and dry underneath. Condensation would rain down under our carport. Sometimes, it rained more under the carport than outside. I added this underneath the carport roof, right against the metal. After 6 months, I can say it's working perfectly. 90+ degree sunny days, 18 degree cold, windy days, it's holding up great. I bought it twice once from a different supplier and this time from Amazon. I liked both but the purchase I did through Amazon was definitely better quality. I t worked perfect for what I wanted it to and it holds the heat in the metal building from wood stove. Best thing I ever did for working out in the shed in winter, no drip from the sweating of the metal ceiling and a warmer place to work ... show more

    • Works great in my metal roof garage
Bought this to put under metal roof in very old 2 car detached garage. My old metal roof garage is miserable in the summer, so very very hot. Fans just blow very hot air on you. Garage is about 600sf. I first installed 3 of the whirly type roof vents at tge end of this spring, then I stapled this double bubble reflective " insulation" between the roof trusses. WOW, what a difference. Inside/outside thermometer shows that inside it about 2-4 degrees cooler than outside till about lunch. During the heat of the day it's the same temp inside as it is outside, much better than the 20+ degrees hotter inside like it always has been before. The vents help alot but the real game changer was the double bubble reflective barrier. Great stuff ... show more

This is a quality product, I’m using it in a metal carport building that has been converted into an off-grid cabin. It’s being installed in the ceiling area only with about an 1 1/2” air space between the metal roof and the reflective side of the product. You can definitely tell the difference with increased warmth and heat retention, since this has been installed, the wood burning stove is using less wood and the building stays warmer for a longer time. It’s an easy product to use and and holds up to all types of abuse, I’m using a white duct tape to adhere and seal the seams of the overlapped pieces, and it holds up quite well, even when you need to peel off and reapply the tape. My biggest complaint is I ordered a 100’ roll, and there was only 80’ of product, I didn’t measure the roll when it first arrived and didn’t realize the error until I was nearly done. I would suggest checking the length when it first arrives. ... show more

    • Very tough and durable
This product shuts out air and moisture leaks. Good for seasonal buildings where holding in or out radiant heat is all that's needed . The white side makes a nice finished wall covering for shops and garages.

I did some research, as I needed to insulate the floor, of an on the insulated outbuilding - "Shed" - that I am using for an office. The current floor is just plywood on top of 2 x 4 beams, and then I had a rubber mat and carpeting, and while I insulated the walls and ceiling the flooring was very cold. Since it wasn't very easy for me to get underneath the structure and insulate from there I looked into the double bubble reflective foil here as a solution. The box came quickly, with the product in a roll, I laid it down and cut to size, and immediately noticed an improved warmth on the side I placed this reflective foil. I even reached out to the seller, and they graciously helped confirm the best methodology, which was the reflective side down. I plan to finish the rest of the insulation this weekend, as there is the significant improvement in the half that is already covered. This will not only save me heating energy, but also my Saturday, as my feet will no longer freeze. ... show more
