Absolutely love this thing. I’ve had to move out multiple times within a few months, and I have a huge TV stand that’s around 350lbs and I can get it up and down 3 flights of stairs practically by myself. The stair climbers are extremely helpful, and the kickstand can support the entire weight of whatever object you put onto it, you can let go and it will stay up. Don’t even get me started of the ratchet, that’s the whole reason I wanted this in the first place and it’s amazing. It self retracts, and it’s a little hard to understand at first, but once you figure out how to use it it’s easy and so very helpful. The ONLY negative comment I have is how heavy it is, but it’s a small sacrifice considering just how capable it is at moving furniture. I trust and love this product, and I don’t regret spending the money. If your thinking of hiring movers like I was, just get one of these and find a friend with a truck and you’ll be set.

This piece of equipment has moved a full dresser full length straps extended full length. A 32 cubic inch refrigerator no problem. A full size dog house across the yard no problem. This thing is awesome. I would buy this product again.

The ratcheting mechanism is flimsy , it’s made of thin stamped metal pieces. I have to be careful no5 to bend it when I’m tightening the strap.

So, I have used a dolly like this before. They are extremely useful because they hold the tilted load. I asked if the wheel bearings were pre-greased and what grease should be used. The seller did not answer the first question, but indicated white lithium grease would be good. So, I decided to investigate. When something has a zert fitting, you should see evidence of grease seeping out of the bearing. I didn't see any. So, I removed the cotter pin. I found the wheels use 2 bearings each. Oddly enough, the bearings are double shielded. So, if you do use the zerts, it will lubricate between the fixed shaft and the inner diameter of the bearing and not the inside bearing itself. I removed a star because it seems that the zerts are not really useful, except perhaps for preventing the bearings from rusting onto the shaft. I wonder how other dollies like this one are constructed. I'm not sure if I should remove the bearing shields and grease the wheels, or maybe I should just leave it as is since the bearings are self contained.
