  • The base and top are all high grade and heavy duty made of nearly indestructible heavy cast metal joined with a heavy-duty ball bearing that allows the top to spin easily. Holds up to 50 lbs
  • The base has a non-skid rubber boot that holds the wheel firmly in place without the need to drill holes in your work station
  • The top is designed with concentric circles to allow easy centering of your work and the rim is weighted to give the wheel extra momentum when you spin it
  • It is tall enough for you to get your hand beneath the top so you can rotate it while you work. lthough it has heavy-duty construction it is still light enough (10 lbs.) so that you can easily move it around when necessary

The media could not be loaded. Good value for the money. Very sturdy, 8.2 pounds. Made of metal. Makes two revolutions when spinners. Will be perfect for decorating, trimming and building ceramics. I am very happy with the purchase.

Smooth bearings... flat as measured with a level(bubble).. Only critique is the fairly rough and sharp machining on top surface. It is bare metal and if you are using it for sculpting... the extra grip on the surface might be ok... but I am going to sand and paint mine. snags a sponge but only on parts of the turnrtable. Base is heavy and should hold up. Good value for $$$ ... show more

I am so impressed with this! Very solid and sturdy, and it turns very smoothly. I see a few others have had issues with imperfections (and I wouldn't discount their experiences); but I see why this has so many 5 star reviews.
