I bought these for an 82-year-old U.S. Army veteran that I look after. He had a similar pair of sunglasses that the one lens kept popping out of the frame. I initially looked through Amazon to find five models that I thought might work. Life happened and more than 30 days went by before I revisited this item on my to-do list. Comparing the five that I initially had identified with his current glasses, 3 of the pairs appeared, just by looking at the pictures, to be narrower (less tall) than his current ones. So, I ended up ordering both a pair by LVIOE and a pair by URUMQI. I compared the two models upon receipt, and I thought the LVIOE was slightly preferable. They appeared slightly larger than the URUMQI, and I thought the Polarization was slightly better (both included a test image) with the LVIOE. The LVIOE had the full name of the manufacturer, its address, an email address, and the contact information for both the UK and EU representatives on the package. Clearly, they thought highly of their product, and wanted customers to be able to contact them if necessary. The URUMQI, on the other hand, said that they were designed in the USA, maybe a good thing. Both had the FDA logo on the box. Does the FDA certify sunglasses? The LVIOE had a gloss finish on the frame while the URUMQI had a matte finish. Ultimately, my veteran liked the URUMQI better overall so that is what he kept. However, both appeared to be of high quality, and I think someone would be satisfied with either. ... show more

Great set for skiing! I used the regular grey lens glasses when the sun & snow are bright, then switched to the amber lens glasses in the afternoon when the shade & shadows make it harder to see well. Really glad I got these, they saved the day for me. These fit-over glasses never fog up like goggles do (with prescription glasses inside the goggles, the goggles always fog up for me, I tried everything!). Goggles have just not worked for me at all. These glasses are great. And cheap. Comfortable & stay put. Good fit. Lasted all season, maybe 2. Problem solved. Winner. ... show more

I like them but they have rough ends and scratch my face when I put them on. Otherwise I like the fit. Since they cost $30 I will get my next pair at Wal-Mart. Same style, same cost, better quality.

The color of the glasses are darker purple than shown in picture. But overall, good fit. This is my first pair of over glasses sunglasses and I love them. If you have big round oval shape lenses, these might not be for you, mine actually just barely fit over my glasses and my friend has harry potter shaped glasses and they did not fit her. Its nice being able to drive in the sun and also see clearly at the same time. And these are very polarized. Good to wear with and without regular glasses. ... show more
