Do not buy this product! The seller of this item has not acted in good faith. At the time I ordered this product I was misled by the description the seller provided. His description of the product clearly stated that there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee. He later removed that guarantee from the description after I requested my money back for this item. At the time I purchased this item, I depended on that statement. Also, no mention of the difficulty of returning this item could be found in the description. Had I known this, I would never have purchased this item. The quality of this chair is substandard at best. After a difficult construction project to put the chair together I began attempting to use it. After sitting it in the chair for less than an hour the pain in my lower back became excruciating. No amount of shifting my weight in the chair had any effect on the total lack of comfort this chair provides. I finally got to the point where I simply couldn't take it anymore and decided to return it. The seller expected me to re-box the item and somehow get it to UPS and then pay the $120 or more fee it would cost to ship it back. He then threatened to charge a restocking charge on top of that. I purchased this chair to sleep and rest in after surgery. The chair worked for 3 days!!! I contacted Amazon to return the chair. The manufacturer is trying to charge me $300 in return shipping fees. Because I need the chair to sleep on my back at a 45 degree angle, i purchased another chair the same day it stopped working. I paid more foe the replacement chair but I had to have it. I am foing back and forth with Amazon and Urred (the manufacturer) The manufacturer even suggested that I attempt to sell the defective chair that doesn’t work. Avoid this product! ... show more

As a lift/recliner chair this chair has met my expectations. Now to see if the brain is long lasting as I use the up/down function almost exclusively. With my previous chair the brain did not last long.
