Bought a black one, then liked it so much quickly bought a Navy because the other color I preferred was out of stock. I bought a medium after reading reviews, but normally would wear a small. It is a little looser around the waist and hips then I like, but has a nice semi A-line look. Can wear it anywhere, work or play or shopping. I'm 5'4 and the length was perfect, coming just to bottom of my ankle when waist is rolled down as maxi skirt, and mid-ankle when it's pulled up over the breast as a dress. I haven't tried with this skirt but usually they slide down since there's not enough elasticity to hold it up.. The fabric sold me, it's a nice blend and doesn't feel scratchy at all. Seems well made but time will tell after it's washed. Might be a little heavy for Florida summers but will see. And wrinkles hung out! It comes in a small plastic bag, and naturally was creased and wrinkled. I hung it from skirt hanger and next day many marks were gone and 24 more hrs later, all were gone. That in itself is great! These skirts are wonderful! Fabric doesn't cling like some, wash without colors running, and are affordable! They can be worn for casual wear or dressed up for a more formal look. Love them! I bought several colors and am eagerly awaiting new stock of the patterned skirts. A win-win product!! Oh, and sized perfectly!! I bought the BLACK skirt to satisfy the "uniform" requirements for a one-time upcoming Christmas concert. I am petite 5'1", 112 lbs. I got the Medium. It's long and I have to fold the entire 5.5" waist band to get the maxi length. The back skirt is 100% stretchy, comfortable and breathable even in warm weather. I love the look. The skirt is easy care and line-dries quickly. Next, I purchased the BLUE butterfly print skirt. The color is printed on, so it doesn't run. it's very pretty and it's made of a different fabric, a silky, smooth nylon which really like. I think this one will be my favorite and I have several tops I can pair with it. I also purchased a RED skirt. It has the same material as the black skirt, a soft, stretch knit; comfortable and breathable and the red color pairs great with my sleeveless red-yellow print top, which is part of a uniform. To prepare the skirt, I rinsed it in cold water and hung it to dry. I was a little dismayed that a few small splotches developed I suppose from the dye resettling. So, I rinsed it again hoping to even out the color but instead wound up with bigger and more obvious splotches making the skirt unwearable as I was going for a dress-up look. For me, the splotches would be ok for casual use or as a beach cover-up, but I don't need that, so I am returning the RED skirt and keeping the BLACK and BLUE skirts. ... show more

I bought this hoping to be able to wear it with fall sweaters, but it very much screams “summer” to me. It’s thin, it’s see-through, and reminds me of the beach coverup I had in 2001. It’s clingy in the bum and hips, which could be very nice if you like to accentuate your curves. But it will also show every bump and lump unless you’re wearing shapewear under it. Again, it’s all in your preferences. I happen to like the stretchiness all around, and the way the lower end flows. The style, while I had an identical piece in 2001, is still very much “in.” And I loved that maxi skirt/beach coverup. So I am going to keep it after all. I am 5’ 10” and the skirt (which I wear as high-rise) hits a little below my ankle. ... show more

    • Best deal around for a simple, fold down maxi skirt

Much better quality than expected for just $9.99 with shipping included and no tax. The length is perfect. I'm 5' 5" tall and the bottom hem of the skirt just skims over the top of my feet covering my ankles completely. I love the option of folding the top of the skirt down as you would with some yoga pants so for those out there with a nice toned stomach you'll look great pairing the skirt with a shorter top. For those of us that no longer feel comfortable showing their mid section you can simply unfold the top and pull up the unfolded/fitted portion just underneath your bra line so it acts kinda like a shaper so that when your top lays over the skirt you'll never know there's extra material under there. And of course if you plan on wearing higher heels or wedges and need the extra length unfolding the the top will help you out there too. Just keep on mind that if your body isn't as toned and in shape as it once was you'll want to wear a shaper or shaper shorts underneath to smooth out any lumps or bumps around your bum and thighs. The material isn't super thick but that's a good thing because it'll keep you nice and cool during those warmer months. I chose black and it's just thick enough to avoid being able to see through the fabric. Finally, the closest deal that I found elsewhere for a skirth with similar quality was $15.99 plus tax and shipping. You can't go wrong with this deal. ... show more
