What a nice cutaway it sounds amazing came with a tuner, no strap but that’s cool I have a couple extras. I would say that it would be nice to get a cheap case with this guitar but other than that it’s worth the money I recommend you get a stand like I did. This is an EXCELLENT lower-end guitar that looks great, sounds great, and the accompanying free learning app is really well done w/Keith Urban. That being said, this is best suited for someone who already has some guitar skills, I would recommend the 1-3yr experience. Starting from scratch and using that app is an unrealistic goal in my opinion, and you'd be best suited to get some lessons locally first. Once you have the basic knowledge, the app is really well done and will make for a lot of fun. Pros: + Looks Good/Sounds Great for a Beginner Guitar + Really a nice looking guitar + Keith Urban's Learning App is extremely well done Cons: - No included guitar tuner, YES the app has an excellent tuner long as your phone is good enough. - App has some frustrating points where you can't advance without some intervention. You link the app using the associated serial number within the guitar, a little hard to read but that's okay, the process to link is pretty smooth. Once you're in you can learn a variety of songs from Keith and the co-instructor. They explain everything clearly with on-screen guides that help teach you everything you need to know. It comes across in this app that Keith genuinely cares and loves music. Overall this would really make someone's day who has some guitar experience and has been looking for some encouragement to take it to the next step. Would make a great gift for the aspiring guitar player. I had an issue with the first guitar that they sent's quality, it was replaced and the new one was much better.     • Cheaper guitar then Keith Urban's previous guitars Check the box lid for the adjustment tool
adding this note: Check the small end of the box. I was about to discard the box but others were mentioning the adjustment allen wrench. Mine was behind a cardboard flap at the small end of the lid. Cheaper guitar than previous Keith Urban guitars. I bought this Acoustic Guitar expecting the same quality as previous Keith Urban Acoustic/Electric and Electric guitars. The quality is more like Ukuleles that I have bought from discount stores. The strings are Elixir which is fine. I have not tried the lessons yet but I have gone through Keith Urban's 30 songs in 30 days lesson from his previous acoustic/electric guitar product. Some of the songs are the same so I would expect them to be good. The guitar was tuned low from standard tuning which is what I would expect. Tuning the guitar was easy and the tuning pegs appear to hold. the neck was described a narrow for smaller hands, I have large hands but the necks was still uncomfortable even trying the thumb over the low E string (F chord) The lesson downloads only work with IOS 12 and above. I'm not sure about other cell phones types. I emailed Keith Urban site, if there was a version for older IPADs or Windows 10 ,but no response. Summary: Your are getting a beginner guitar. In my opinion, Don't look at older Keith Urban versions and expect the same quality and the price should be more like $100. ... show more

Bought this for my son for his birthday. And he loves it. The teaching part of it helped him out as well, and he only meant to practice 15 minutes a day and was surprised to find that he had been practicing for more than an hour at times. He has really enjoyed it

The sound is just awesome! The shape of the fretboard, the low tension of the strings and the less space between the strings and the fretboard makes it easy to play for beginners.

It's a beautiful guitar, but it's less than I hoped for. I was immediately sold on getting it when I saw it on Amazon. It's a Yamaha promoted by Keith Urban, after all. I already have an acoustic guitar, but I was looking into getting another one with a "cutaway" body for playing the higher frets with ease, as this guitar features. I also appreciate the low tension/action on the strings, and the rich sound the strings produce. The craftsmanship on this instrument is choice. All in all, it's a pretty good value for the price. The issue I have with this guitar is the neck. It's way too skinny! It's about 0.5" narrower than a standard sized one. It even tapers off down the neck towards the nut. This makes it difficult to play chords on the lower frets and can be awkward for those with big hands or fat fingers. Seems like I have to learn to play all over again. Yes, I get that it was meant for beginners, but I was under the impression that any level could play it. Um, the App is okay. At least it includes a tuner. Although Keith Urban appears on it, the lessons are given by someone else entirely. S---low---ly learn to play several songs. Well, "patience is a virtue," right? ... show more
