I never really used eye primer cuz...why? Maybe a cheapish one but never really felt it was necessary... Until I got this. This is almost like a foundation for your eyes. I put it on my lids and undereyes and it basically makes them a normal skin color and holy cow I never knew how much I needed regular skin colored eyelids. It makes an HUGE improvement in my overall face, brightens my eyes and somehow even seems to enhance their shape. It takes away that 'you look sick without makeup on' thing. I put it on the other day when I was rushing and didn't have time for makeup but I didn't even need it after this. Literally you're good with just this (and some lip color ofc). The staying power is bomb. I slept in it and still felt purty in the morning. And now I can't live without it. The end. It gives you the perfect no makeup look.

this primer applies smoothly and thin. Eden color provides enough coverage to even out eyelid color without being heavy. Always apply eyeshadow or setting powder over it, else it can feel gummy over the course of a day. Have hooded eyes and never have any shadow creasing issue. Sometimes use it as undereye concealer.

I've used this product for years now and i love it. I use a sponge to spread it over my entire eyelid. It stays on and is a great primer to hold your eyeshadow. The color stays on so well that I've used it as an eye shadow alone as well as added other eyeshadow colors onto it. I've learned when you use the wand and spread a little onto you eye lid that you cannot wait too long to spread it around. It will literally dry where it is and not spread around - that's how "stay on" and long-lasting this product is.

it is a nice eye primer, easy to apply and blend well - it is a little too fair and with a very strong coverage that looks like you already have eye shadow - i can't tell if the make up stays better or not, i did not do a test with and without.

I like how this covers up the dark, blotchy color of my eyelids and under eyebrow area. By using this product it covers up imperfections, creates a blank canvass on my eye area which then allows the eye shadow to go on smoothly while making the eye shadow look good and even. No more blotchy or dark areas. It’s a win/win product for me.

Love this primer. Because the color is a fair skin tone, I use it alone on my eye lids to make them look more open. I apply a small amount and then feather it across the eyelid with a small soft brush. When applied in a limited amount it lasts all day and does not cake. Ir also helps to maintain the look of eyeshadow applied over the product.

Okay, so this primer has some major pluses and minuses for me. I have been a long time fan of the Urban Decay original primer and decided to give this one a try. The first picture is right after application with some shadow and kohl eyeliner. I have combination oily skin and some facial inflammation, which can be a challenge to makeup depending on the day. The second picture is nine hours later on an average day without any major weather or challenging physical activity or anything noteworthy. Just an average day with average wear. How this primer stacks up: Pros: -Easy to blend shadow (much better than bare skin) -Easy to apply eyeliner (extra smooth) -The yellow tint corrects for thin eyelid skin/veins and makes shadow an honest color -A little goes a loooong way Cons: -Feels like a concealer. By this I mean that it is tinted (fair skin) and it will cake if you aren’t careful (need fresh, clean skin.) -Shadow still creases after nine hours. This is a big minus for me. I do have to say that my liner, which usually smudges and runs on its own, was well behaved with this primer and shadow backing it up. So there’s that. -My 13yo “couldn’t tell a difference”. Let me explain. When I first got this primer I tossed it her way as she is experimenting with liquid eyeliner. Apparently my 13yo was perfect to begin with because this primer did nothing noteworthy and she gave it back. In short, a teenager with nothing to complain about is a win in my book, but also very suspicious. I spent the next three weeks giving this primer a shake down and had to agree with my teen. No REAL difference. It’s a little cumbersome to apply and doesn’t deliver the life changing results I was looking for. I am a die hard believer in the original formula (purple tube) and have mixed feelings about this one.
