I have been using this Urban Decay eyeliner for yearssssss and it is always consistent for me. Color: highly pigmented so you can actually see what you're applying, even if it is white eyeliner. Functionality: the pencil does not break and is easy to apply. Sharpen? Yes Retractable pencil? No Stay on? The color is so beautifully vivid that it does stay on. Smudge-proof: Yes! this eyeliner is smudgeproof if you want it to be. For example, if you wanted to keep your look in place, you can choose to use a finishing spray to help it stay or just leave it as is on your eyes. If you wanted to smudge your eyeliner on purpose for a sultry smokey look, you can smudge it and the finished result is just as wonderful. Texture: it feels like a borderline melted crayon that smoothly glides while keeping the pencil's "shape" Fall proof: I have not had this pencil break while dropping it during use. These have been my favorite for a long time because they truly last all day. With the current two that I recently ordered, I’ve noticed that the formula might have changed because they are extremely soft now (I know the „glide-on“ - formula might suggest that but I feel like they weren’t as soft before as now) which is great for smudging but requires very frequent resharpening. I can’t do my precise wing anymore how I used to do because the application is too broad due to the very soft formula. With an angled eyeliner brush the application works a lot better.

I’ve been using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner pencils for years because the color range and staying power are excellent. The formula applies very smoothly, wears beautifully throughout the day, and is one of the few pencil liners I consistently come back to. My only frustration appears as the pencil ages. The product tends to shrink slightly inside the wood casing, which makes sharpening difficult and sometimes causes the core to feel loose or sadly, just fall out. As a result, I often end up discarding a pencil that still contains usable product because it becomes hard to maintain a clean, precise tip. Even when new, these liners can be somewhat challenging to sharpen to a nice point compared with other brands. That said, the performance and shades are so good that I continue to repurchase. If the packaging allowed for easier sharpening (I have tried different sharpeners and the 'putting into the freezer before sharpening method' as well) and less product movement over time, this would easily be a five-star eyeliner for me.

This Urban Decay eyeliner is the best I've ever tried, and I've tried many, many brands. The liner actually glides right on, with no pulling or tugging. The pigment is rich and really does not smudge. What's more, it removes easily without any special makeup remover. I'm very, very pleased to have found my holy grail of eyeliners.
