    • Hard to put together
I love the amount of space it takes, the sturdiness, and the final look. I did not like how the instructions skipped over how to install the base bars across all beds. Honestly after the first one we needed a day to recollect ourselves as well as the second. They need a better system.

My boyfriend builds furniture but didn't have time for another project. He was impressed with the solid frame on this bed. I had a hard time finding a reasonably priced bed that was mostly real wood. This bed is mostly solid pine with a few (good) plywood pieces. The drawers are flimsy chipboard, which won't last long but overall, I'm satisfied with the sturdy material and I see this bed lasting a long time! It was fairly easy to assemble but there were some holes that were not pre-drilled so we had to estimate the placement of the three drawer stops. At the end of the project, we were missing 4 wood screws which we replaced with our own stock. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This daybed is junk! Should have known by the price, but thought I’d take a chance. The backboard is very flimsy. I don’t think it could handle being leaned on without snapping in half. Several of the metal studs are loose/falling off. There are numerous strings hanging off. I received screws that were too big for holes (and I was definitely using the screws they intended to be for these holes based on the number of them received). It’s a hassle to disassemble and return, so Amazon offered a partial refund if I want to keep it.. Decided to keep it, so we’ll see how long this piece of junk lasts. I’m still waiting for that partial refund a day later. ... show more

    • Spend the extra money on a better bed!
I highly recommend spending the extra money and getting a higher quality and safer bed. The slats under the top bed are exposed for the lower bed, which wouldn’t be an issue if they weren’t insanely splintery. If your kid on the bottom bunk touches or grazes those exposed slats, good luck getting the splinters out. The slide is cute but needed so much extra reinforcement—not only was it very loud, but so rickety that it didn’t feel safe. Two stars for the price and the size, but I definitely wish I had paid more for a better quality bed. ... show more

Aside from one hole not properly drilled and lining up with other wood piece. This bed is perfect for my toddlers. The instructions could have been a bit more clearer as we had to squint to see where to place bolts, but all in all it’s great and my kids are enjoying their new bed
