Its been a few weeks now and I can honestly say its been a game changer for my post workout recovery. When I was a collegiate, the ice bath was my best friend post-workout. It's an amazing, yet initially painful, way to aid muscle repair. Unfortunately, my ice baths have been minimal since. Now, as I try to ramp up my running again so that I can start racing again, I am starting to do intense interval workouts. Our bathroom does not have a tub and I figured there wasn't a way to do ice baths other than by using a garbage can, filling it with ice, and standing up for a bath. After Googling, I realized they make these home ice baths! This bath is awesome! I was skeptical given how small the packaged contents are, but it's great. Set up took less than 10 minutes. The poles are really solid and hold the bath walls without problem. I set this up in our shower just to be safe. I dumped all my ice in, ran the cold shower into the tub, and let it chill for a bit to get it really cold. Then, for the first time in years, I slowly eased my way into the ice bath. Brrrr! So cold! Finally, I bit the bullet and dropped in all the way, where I stayed for about 10 minutes. Legs felt much better than normal the next day. Since, I've been icing every other day or so and feel so much better. These things work magic for these ol', tired legs. It packs up easily into the carrying case, but I typically just move it back and forth to the garage since I use it so often. This bath is a necessity if you work out or just want to shock your system with a cold plunge.

Got my ice bath...1st, I had to decipher the instructions because the word are run together, no punctuation 2nd, the actual instruction pictures are hard to see, the upside is it's holding water, we'll see! If I had it to do over again I would have bought a different bath...update...it's been a week and I have used my tub every night...worth every dime...

Our son (17) has been wanting an ice bath for years and I finally felt like I had wrapped my head around doing a cold plunge after workouts (or for the immune system, now that I've learned more about it!). I finally settled on this one and I am SO GLAD I did! It is just simple enough to be a super easy setup / fill but nice enough to handle the getting in and out that he will be doing. I LOVE that the cover that it comes with is so snug around the casing and I also love that this ice bath tub has some give to it. It is super easy for him to add ice if need be and I am going to handle keeping the ph levels just right after doing some research online. Great seller, great product that seems like it will last a really long time!

This ice bath is awesome! It's pretty big and perfect for athletes or anyone who just wants to use it after a nice workout. It is not hard to set up and the size is great for dipping your whole body. Defintely needs some getting used to since your dipping your body in ice water, so I can only last a minute or two but we’ll get up there. Definitely worth it if you’ve been thinking about getting into cold therapy or just want to try something new!Tough getting in, but feels great once you do it and are out!

Pros: nice large size, big enough to sit in with legs slightly bent. Good quality material. Quick setup Cons: seems that the pipe connectors were fabricated incorrectly. You can get past this but the locking mechanism is on the wrong side of the insert. With that being said I still recommend this for anyone looking for a large ice pod.

Instructions aren't great, and I received a wrong sized part. One of the 4 vertical support bars was shorter than the other 3. Put it together anyways and it should be ok? Time will tell.
