The canvas windows are cloudy and not reinforced . The corners gape and so-need taping or more ties . Not heavy enough for Maine winters .

The product images have a matte finish on the tent, but this is not the case - it's standard, tarp material. Granted, I read other reviews and saw the customer images, so I knew that. Construction is sturdy, the included sand bags are a nice touch, but I just mounted it directly to a driveway. It is already leaking on the roof on the sides it definitely doesn't look like the pictures and it's the older one that's not upgraded

For the price at the time of this review ($210 if you use the offered coupon), this carport is beyond a great value. I expected this to be similar to a typical pop up canopy but it is far and above one of those. I will tell you right now our heat is so intense I do not want the sides on my canopy. I don't care how good the airflow is, anything blocking air is a no thank you! The sides are very nice and the exact same material as the roof of the canopy. They do have windows that easily open. They do attach easily to the frame and make an overall finished structure. What I need right now is SHADE and using the roof by itself got me just that. I knocked off one star for assembly. It is not as easy as described and does actually require a couple of tools. I would highly recommend keeping pliers and a pair of channel locks handy. Several of the ends of my tubes were bent and wouldn't fit together so I had to bend them into a usable shape with the channel locks. Not something that is a deal breaker, but definitely something to be aware of. If you are planning on putting this together in your early morning already 95+ degrees...do it in the shade if you can. Your cursing at minor hiccups like misshapen ends of poles will be greatly reduced. Other than the bent tubes everything went together fairly easily. The instructions are very decent and all the parts were marked so I knew which pieces went together with which. They were also packed in order of when I needed to use them! Mind blowing. This frame is BIG and a second person would be incredibly helpful during assembly and in stretching the top tarp over the frame. It can be done by one person (I know because I did it) but a helper would've taken the frustration down to almost 0. I really got this canopy to wash and detail cars under this summer while it's SO hot (otherwise I only have straight sun to work in). As it turns out, I am truck sitting an F150 for a friend right now and the canopy is actually very helpful to park that thing under while I'm not using it for washing. That truck is pretty enormous and easily fits under this canopy. Now when I get in it I'm not afraid of spontaneously combusting before the truck can actually get running. If you're looking for a shade, a portable garage/storage whatever, this is definitely the way to go. It is a good looking, stout shade. I was looking at similar shades locally and they cost double what this one does and the quality was lesser. ... show more

I really needed this carport and I'm happy to have it. I have a giant black walnut tree growing hanging over my parking stall. For the past year I've been having to wash my card weekly due to the sticky sap that falls from the tree. Now that I have this carport, I no longer have to wash my car this much. Easy to assemble, like the click locks on the frames, material much thinner than expected. UPDATE: Had up for 5 months now. Millions of pin holes in roof. Not near anything to cause damage. Has not started leaking yet but will anytime now. Going to buy a heavy duty tarp to cover the roof. Cheapest plastic you can get on this shed. ... show more
