I am shocked with these things. Typically, I’m used to listings overhyping how well their products work so I take all marketing with a large grain of salt, however, these clips are underrated in my opinion. These clamps are a game changer for me when it comes to using a tarp, setting up a tent or anything that I need to try and hang a piece of material while keeping it pulled tight and even. For example, you need to tie off a tarp at a point where there is no eyelet, you have to either install a new eyelet or cut a hole and risk the tarp ripping from the force being pulled into a small area but with these clamps, all that’s fuss is over. I wish I knew about these clamps a very long time ago. Another example is you have a tent and the one of the tie points is ripped or has a messed up eyelet, just clamp it with one of these to what’s left and no more issues. They are a good bit thicker and bigger than I expected. The zip ties are not the tiny little 6” ones you get most of the time. The thumbscrews on each clamp are very easy to use but with the equipped o-rings on the thumbscrews, they hold in place very well too. Also, just as a side note unrelated to how well these work, I just found the the larger clamps are a good replacement for the blade clamp in a knife sharpening system that has metal rods on the sharpening stones so you hold the correct angle. IYKYK. So to get 20 of them for less than $25 is insanely cheap. Anyway, if you got a bunch of tarps you need to string up, get these too. I’m never using another tarp, tent or anything that works like them without these clamps ever again.

As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, whether it’s camping or hauling gear, I’ve found these tarp clips to be a solid addition to my kit. The pack comes with a generous number of clips, which is great because I always seem to need more than I think. They’re sturdy and feel well made, with a design that opens wide enough to grip various materials, from thin tarps to heavier canvas. I’ve used them to secure tarps for shade during camping trips and to cover loads in my truck bed, and they’ve held up well in both scenarios. The twist to tighten mechanism is straightforward and locks in securely, though it took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it. While tying knots through grommets works fine, these clips give you flexibility to use materials that might not have grommets, which is a huge plus. Overall, these are dependable, high quality clips that make setting up or securing gear much easier. Definitely worth keeping a set on hand for any outdoor project.

I got these tarp clips to help hold down my plant covers for when freezes come in the winter. Many of my plant covers have had their grommets torn out, so these clips will make up for that. I found that the clips close well, with opposing teeth lining up as you would expect. For testing, I attached them to a tarp, and I tried to pull them off. I found that the tarp material started stretching and failing, meaning that the clips are stronger than the tarp. I like that this set includes both the wide and narrow types of clips, giving some options for when I need to use them. I have not had a chance to try these long-term, and I only plan to use them for a few days at a time when a freeze is expected. All in all, I recommend these clips.

Great hold. I bet you will probably tear up the plastic it is holding under tension than the clips giving up. The teeth are bent backwards and the screw tightens them together. I used it to hold my tree watering bag ( the bag can hold 25 gallons of water). Right about 10 gallons I could see the plastic giving up—If you have a good holding / reinforced cloth to hold the teeth, these are excellent choice to have. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered these Upgraded Tarp Clips that come in a 40-Pack (20 small and 20 large) along with 100-Pack of Zip Ties for securing shade cloths to frames to protect my plants from the sun's intensity in the summer. I originally planted a couple vines to shade my struggling mandarin tree but the vines are growing too slowly so I placed some burlap over a frame to provide immediate shade and used these tarp clips to secure it. While these tarp clips hold securely, they don't open wide enough to fit over my frame poles. I had to improvise and attach them to the netting I have for my vines to climb on instead of the frame itself. I could have used the included zip ties but I wanted a clip where I could move the burlap up as the vines grow. These tarp clips would work great on shade cloth fabric that can be used as a shade sail for a much lower price. When the tarp clips are attached to the fabric, ropes can be strung through the holes at the end of the tarp clips and then attached to posts/walls/eaves. Overall, they are made well from heavy duty plastic and I will definitely use them in my garden as needed because they do hold very securely.

These clips will be a lifesaver for camping tarps underneath the tent and the shades. These clips comes in two different size and teeth like holding area is great to hold even plain materials. This also came with zip ties to avoid having to tie the ropes and other materials to the clips. The installation is easy, there clip has a screw mount, which tighten the clip against the tarp, which will keep the clips with tarps. This is gonna be a lifesaver in camping trips, great decision to get these clips for my camping trip.
