I ordered these Upgraded Tarp Clips that come in a 40-Pack (20 small and 20 large) along with 100-Pack of Zip Ties for securing shade cloths to frames to protect my plants from the sun's intensity in the summer. I originally planted a couple vines to shade my struggling mandarin tree but the vines are growing too slowly so I placed some burlap over a frame to provide immediate shade and used these tarp clips to secure it. While these tarp clips hold securely, they don't open wide enough to fit over my frame poles. I had to improvise and attach them to the netting I have for my vines to climb on instead of the frame itself. I could have used the included zip ties but I wanted a clip where I could move the burlap up as the vines grow. These tarp clips would work great on shade cloth fabric that can be used as a shade sail for a much lower price. When the tarp clips are attached to the fabric, ropes can be strung through the holes at the end of the tarp clips and then attached to posts/walls/eaves. Overall, they are made well from heavy duty plastic and I will definitely use them in my garden as needed because they do hold very securely.

These are heavy duty and easy to use. They grip tight and will not come loose. These aren't cheap like similar clips.

These clips feel durable and strong. My spouse uses them to hang moving blankets for sound dampening in his workspace, and they have worked great. The built-in screw design is clever — you simply turn the knob to loosen the clamp, position it over the tarp or blanket, then hand-tighten to lock it in place. They grip securely without damaging the material and hold steady without slipping once tightened. These clips are excellent. If you need a strong, reusable way to secure blankets or tarps without grommets, they are definitely worth checking out!

These are pretty good tarp clips, comparable to others I have used in the past. They clamp on and bite very well- the tarp would be more likely to tear than to be released from this if it's properly secured. I bought these to help hold shade cloths in place but sometimes they go on weird and I can't always access a grommet hole where I need one- so these are perfect.
