This was pretty simple to put together. We were missing some screws and some of the pieces didn’t have holes for the screws. Annoying but not a huge deal. Once together it looked nice and was sturdy however once I started putting stuff in it, the door stuck. It’s super hard to pull open. I have to push on the top panel above the door while pulling. At 5 foot this is a pain for me! It’s not worth the hassle of taking apart and sending back but really disappointed for $250! ... show more

I ordered this storage cabinet for my basement, and it makes organizing things there much easier. The assembly process was straightforward, and I encountered no issues with missing parts. The manual was easy to follow, and I was able to assemble the cabinet all by myself. The cabinet is spacious, allowing me to store quite a lot of tools and belongings and free up valuable space in my basement. In addition, the shelves can be easily moved up and down so that large items can be accommodated in the cabinet. The shelves are firmly attached and provide a stable platform to support the weight of the stored items. The only problem I have with this cabinet is the lock. Since the doors are flimsy, the lock sometimes doesn't close properly. Instead, you must push the door hard and turn the handle simultaneously. Otherwise, this is a great storage option for places like the basement or garage. ... show more

I don’t know that I would consider this a good cabinet for garage storage, but it has come in very useful for our electronic inventory storage. It has a sleek classy look to it, and the locking maneuver works perfectly. Assembly was a little difficult given that we were missing parts, as it seems most other reviewer‘s were as well, but we tend to have lots of extras on hand and were able to get past this. The boyfriend had it up in less than an hour so it’s safe to say that assembly is pretty easy. We only use it for electronics storage, so there’s not a massive amount of weight on it. Cabinet was easy to set up and extremely solid. The only problem I have at the moment is I’m missing one of the M/N sets and when I tried to ask for help with it using the suggested website, the website doesn’t work right. This is a solid product otherwise.

The construction is lightweight, but for the price and it being shipped to my door in a flat-pack, it's about what I expected. The cabinet is made out of quite thin sheet metal with moderate structural channels formed into it for rigidity. That is to say I think the 100lbs per shelf rating is probably the upper limit and it needs to be spread out. For example: I wouldn't trust it to hold a full 5 gallon bucket of paint without bending – even the bottom shelf. However, I'm storing several gallons, partial gallons, quarts, and miscellaneous other stuff – and that works out well for me. I think this is a perfectly fine storage cabinet for the price, suitable for a lot of applications such as home, garage, office, workshop. I would only caution against heavy usage, daily/frequent loading and unloading of heavy goods. Under such conditions, I think it would have a drastically reduced lifespan. Arrived in fair condition and assembly is not too complex. Alone, it took me probably an hour from unpacking to finished. Though be aware it takes a lot space to unpack and spread out all the parts. One nut and bolt were missing from the included assembly hardware, though I happened to have a suitable replacement on hand. I realize that won't be the case for most people. The omission could have been skipped over in assembly without drastic consequence, but it's still poor form. Missing hardware is the cardinal sin of flat-packs. So for that, combined with the general so-so quality, I rate 4 stars. ... show more

    • Easy enough to put together, but low quality parts for door handle
This cabinet was easy enough to put together, features lots of storage, and the metal seems high-quality enough to last a good long while. The only reason that it's not rated higher is the lower quality/incorrect assembly of the door handle parts. The unit comes with the door handle mechanics already assembled within the door panel but it was assembled incorrectly. Attempted to rectify but the door handle broke apart in my hands and now it's not able to be closed in this fashion. This is fine enough and can just throw a simple latch on it to keep the doors closed, but was certainly frustrating considering it was the last parts of the steps. Also was missing a screw or two, but I don't think it'll make too big a difference. Just something to note for why I knocked off another star. ... show more

I had read the reviews and wasn’t quite sure how good this cabinet would be. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It is pretty thin metal and it took me about two hours to put it together but in the end it’s a good looking cabinet for garage storage. Unlike others in the reviews, mine did come with all of the screws, and there was only one small dent in it, which frankly is pretty surprising for as far as this was shipped I’m sure. My biggest concern is that it says that the shelves will hold 100 pounds, but I’m a little leery of that number. Overall though, I think it’s a pretty decent product. ... show more
