They fit well and also work well to retain additional heat in the griddle and prevent breezes from blowing out the burner flames. The instructions, printed on the carton, showing where the guards are to be installed are plain enough but what isn't mentioned anywhere at all is that the side shelves have to be fully removed along with all their mounting screws before you can place the wind guards onto the underside of the griddle in their proper locations then reinstall the side shelves. The rear wind guards install easily enough without removing anything but it would have been nice to know that the side shelves and their mounting screws have to be removed in order to place the side wind guards in position. Include that info in the instructions and the review would have been five stars.

Wind Guards fit perfectly - Love my 36" Blackstone, but on windy days I found it a struggle to keep temps much above 400 degrees. Heard about using wind guards so off to Amazon I go. Many different brands and types, but I settled on these mainly because I liked the magnet under the cooktop option. So far so good. Installation took 15 seconds, I am not even sure installation is the proper word it was so easy. So far seems to do the trick. I don't know if these are better, equal or what compared to the other brands BUT I know this brand works, fits, and was a great choce.

Only used once, immediately had to write a review. Game changer. So much more gas efficient with less heat escaping out the sides. I cooked my bacon on lowest setting probably twice as fast as before. My smash burgers maillard reaction was sooo much more even and better. I should have gotten these a long time ago.

We have a lot of wind here in the Midwest. Got these so we could grill on any windy day. The wind guards for the side of the grill are the right size, but the ones for the back are too long and don't fit properly so they don't stay on. I have a 28 inch blackstone.
