Being the parents of a 2 year old and now a 5 month old we were searching for solutions to keep the kidd out of cabinets, drawers etc. Our 2 year old was able to figure out other manufacturers products in just a few days which led to disgust and needed stress. These arrived and were immediately installed with ease. Backed them up with the provided screws for piece of mind and durability. Would highly recommend these for any household. ** One tip during install is make sure they are placed away from any screws for handles, etc or the magnet will be drawn to that and hold the mechanism open. Little fine tunes and all of ares are functioning great. 2 year old isn't happy at all that he can no longer access the cabinets. 🤷♂️ ... show more

These are great cabinet locks and work well. The only thing to plan is where you place the magnets in order to open the cabinet. I placed one of mine near the light switch and now I knock it off each time I turn on the light.

These locks are very poor quality. We got them on a lightning deal and we thought they would work great. I should have listened to the reviewers saying they kept falling off of their cabinets. These would not stay on and our baby kept pulling our cabinet doors because these would not lock. We would have to drill holes in the cabinets but the magnets also were not strong. Definitely do not recommend these especially for that price. ... show more

these are easier to install that the name brand ones we got, and seem to work just as well if you screw the pieces on. the screws that come with these are terrible - poorly formed threads and weak material. the biggest problem with these is if you put them someplace like the kitchen. it’s too frustrating to have to use the magnet every time you want to open a drawer when you’re trying to cook. it’s much better to just use child barriers to exclude them from the kitchen altogether. they get used to it, and it’s safer. ... show more
