When I got my Apple Vision Pro, I wasn't happy with the strap options that were included with it. I was grateful when third parties started releasing head straps like this one. This is a very sturdy head strap and it's pretty comfortable. The only issues I have with it are that the material used to cover the pads doesn't breathe very well so it causes me to sweat quite a bit. I also don't like that in order to use the case for the Apple Vision Pro you have to remove the head strap. Other than that, it fits well and makes the AVP feel very stable.

Maybe I’m the only one, but the Vision Pro, which I purchased on day one, was a comparative disaster to my quest meta 3. Incredibly heavy, no matter what I did I could not get it to be comfortable for the bridge of my nose. Try every face insert and both straps. This thing is a SPECTACULAR. I can watch a two hour movie- WITHOUT IT SMASHING THE BRIDGE OF MY NOSE[

I normally use the dual strap that is included with the Apple Vision Pro, as I find it more comfortable than the solo band. The dual strap is fine and great for traveling but it's pretty basic and while not uncomfortable, it could be improved. I jumped at the opportunity to try this head strap from Aolukytech. Installation is easy, although it does required the removal of both arms from the AVP using the included needle tool (Pretty much a SIM ejection tool). The headset is bulky, especially the back portion with the adjustable dial, so maybe not the best choice for traveling. I've been using the strap exclusively for the past several days and it feels great, very comfortable. I tested the headset with the AVP light seal removed, the strap works fine like that and I know some people prefer the added peripheral vision that gives. Personally, I prefer the total darkness and immersion that comes with the use of the light seal. Overall a nice head strap, comfortable and easy to adjust once installed. I feel like the bulkiness could be reduced, especially on the back portion of the headset.

I've been relatively happy with the comfort of the strap that came with my AVP, trying both the dual and solo straps and ending up with the solo as my go to. I do have a problem with the displays dipping to low and getting a message in the goggles to adjust their position. So when I saw this as an option I just had to try it. The Aolukytech Head Strap showed up well-packaged and with internal bagging to separate all the parts. When it got to the point where I needed to disassemble the earpieces on my very expensive AVP, I got very concerned. I ended up putting the goggles displays onto a pillow to be sure they didn't pop loose and fall - but in reality, the whole disassembly was dead simple with the provided tool - which looks like a SIM removal pin for a phone with an added plastic handle, Anyhow, popping the glass portion loose was easy, and the disks provided to cover the snaps that held the earpieces on did a fine job of keeping those metal snaps from rubbing against your face. The only difficult part of assembling things was figuring out from the photos in the instructions exactly how the earpieces fit into the new headset and then plug back into the display portion. The directions could be a lot clearer on this - but if you watch the assembly video on the Amazon product page, it is easy as pie. The video is a lot more useful than the directions. And remember that if the earpiece connectors aren't solidly plugged back in, your expensive device may end up glass-down on the floor. Just saying - check the connection carefully. Once assembled, I was very impressed with the comfort and adjustability of the headset over the one that came with the AVP originally. It is larger, but the weight is better balanced and I noticed in my first long use it is easier on my neck. I let 3 friends try the headset with both the original and the new strap configuration, and all three preferred this new one. It is great at accommodating different head sizes and different facial structures. I tried it without the light seal, as some folks suggested online - but it wasn't for me. The light around the edges was intrusive and made colors less bold. I absolutely LOVE the ability to flip the displays up and off your face so you can use your eyes without having the remove the headset. This is something I hope Apple does in a future headset version. The only thing I really didn't like about the strap is the TPU "leather" used points of skin contact. I don't find it as comfortable as the fabric and foam on the original strap. It wasn't hot on my skin and didn't generate sweat at points of contact - just a personal texture perception on my part. Overall, other than the texture, I am a huge fan. I highly recommend it to anyone who has issues with wearing either of the default strap configurations or needs to share a headset with multiple users.
