The order came as a set of two each, so you can see how frustrating it would be to have two fail so quickly. The last order, when I tried to use the second adapter in the package, it was defective out of the box. Had an (apparently common) issue with my 2012 Prius Bluetooth suddenly refusing to play music from my iPhone. Phone connected and I could make and receive calls through the Prius speakers, but the music player no longer worked. Though I was giving up some features, I decided to try the Aux workaround. I bought a lightning splitter (Apple MFi Certified AUX + Charger Adapter Dongle). No luck. Then I decided to give this a shot. One end plugs into the phone, the other splits to a USB for charging and a 3.5mm stereo audio jack for music. Problem solved. Not the prettiest solution, but it does what I needed it to do and I've got my music (and audiobooks) back! ... show more

Stopped working after 2 months, I was very careful not to bend the wires and extra gentle with the port. Because it was past the return window I wasn’t able to submit for a return. Junk. Also the sound quality was very muted.

Just got it in today for my new to me 2014 MINI Cooper S Countryman. It has the base stereo with Bluetooth for phone calls only but didn’t come with the connecting cord and MINI has discontinued the cord they made for it. This cord works with my iPhone 13 to connect through the AUX connection for my music/podcasts/GPS. Unlike others, when I tested it in my car it did charge it as well. For the price, I’ll take it for as long as I can. The sound was good. It didn’t sound much different than when I listened to the radio. I did have to turn the volume up all the way on my phone (I had to do the same thing with the Bluetooth in my previous 2013 Hyundai Elantra too) and the AUX option in my car but then I was able to control the volume with the radio dial. ... show more

The Connection is decent. Sometimes it’ll cut off while playing music, or if you plug it in it won’t work unless you take it out and try again. The cord also doesn’t charge my phone. You can see that’s it’s connected by the lightning symbol, but the symbol is always flashing on and off. Gonna buy another one and see if it works better👍 ... show more
