  • The spindle mount is exchangeable. The compatible 65mm and 69mm spindle mount is available for ordering now, which supports adding the trimmer router.
  • It is compatible with Genmitsu 3018-PROVer V2/ 3018-PROVer/ 3018-PROVer Mach3/ 3018-MX3 CNC machine. There is a Z-axis rotary knob on its top. You can adjust the height of the Z-axis manually without power.
  • Compared with the V1 version, the V2 version has reduced the height of the spindle mount so that the effective range of the Z Axis is increase from 40mm to 56mm.
  • The spindle carriage is made of high quality aluminium for greater rigidity and durability. It can hold the motor firmly to increase stability and reduce noise. Limit switches and linear bearings are pre-installed.

This aluminium Z-axis assembly with 52mm spindle mount helps you upgrade your CNC machine with a more powerful 300-500W motor. It also comes with a 43mm motor mount to fit the 775 spindle. Compared with the V1 version, the height of the spindle carriage has been reduced in the V2 version, so that the effective range of the Z-axis is increased from 40 mm to 56 mm. The spindle mount is interchangeable. The compatible 65mm (B0BRZSY475)and 69mm spindle mount (B0BRZSVVK3) is now available to order to support the addition of the trimmer router.

**Update** To Sainsmart’s credit they offered to refund me my purchase price for this part even though they had no obligation to at all. Customer service 6/5 stars for sure. I do stand behind my review still though - it is still a beefy part but the inability to replace the Y-axis bearings is an issue due to the design. For many people this probably isn’t an issue, but it is something to consider. Upgraded to 3/5 stars due to the tremendous customer support. ———————— Much more heavy duty than the stock unit that comes with the machine. Definitely a better built piece overall. However, it has one major, fatal flaw. The linear rail bearings are absolutely, 100%, nonreplaceable. They appear to be Loctite-ed in place, but worse than that is that the bore that they are placed into has a step down directly in the middle which prevents pressing out the bearing even if there were no adhesive holding the bearings in. I’m not an expert, but this isn’t something I’ve ever seen before, and I’m not exactly sure why they wouldn’t bore the hole a constant diameter completely through. It certainly is not how any other linear bearing hole I’ve ever seen is machined - at least in my limited experience. Regardless of the reason, eventually if these bearings need replacing, you will have to buy an entire new unit because they also do not sell this piece of the assembly as a separate part. For me this is especially troublesome as I have replaced my linear rails with 12 mm rods instead of the standard 10 mm as it makes the machine more rigid. To use this part, I would have to replace my larger rods with the stock, smaller rods which partially negates the reason I bought this to begin with - increasing the overall rigidity of the machine for better performance. I imagine that for the majority of buyers this assembly would be a fantastic upgrade. However for me, the inability to change the linear rail bearings is problematic in multiple ways and prevents me from recommending this as a replacement for the stock unit for anyone interested in upgraded rails or the ability to replace worn parts as needed. For me now, this is simply an overpriced paperweight. ... show more

To be clear, the Genmitsu design is perfectly fine and allowed me to upgrade the carriage on my cubiko. However I decided to buy used seeing as i couldn’t completely confirm that the item fit through any official documentation. The carriage itself arrived in the physical condition I expected. But despite the used listing stating “complete with all parts”, the 43mm spindle adapter was missing. ... show more
