The media could not be loaded. So I’ve never done a starlight kit before. I got YT certified and decided to go with it. I went with the 460 piece kit which I feel is PERFECT for my ‘11 Genesis Coupe. Installation wasn’t terrible, just time consuming obviously. The wires were flexible and none broke which someone had mentioned to me might happen? The held up with the hot glue good also. Now the only thing I’ll say that made me extremely nervous was the size of this motor. It was definitely bigger than I had imagined and no, I didn’t check measurements or anything lol I saw other ppl fit them in their headliners and went with it. While I was able to strategically place it in the headliner as well, it barely fits lol. So for ppl with “smaller” cars, be mindful of where you’d like to place it and test it out prior. But end of the day, I’m extremely happy with it, the lights are beautiful. ... show more

When I first opened I plugged into wall and car and still didn’t work for nothing I was very upset… turns out I jus used the remote to change the color and it worked perfectly after that. They are really thin but good enough and are very bright. Installing itself isn’t easy takes time but once it’s done it looks amazing. I'm working on making a starry sky for the kids bunk bed. I thought it'd be a nice touch to add some lights. Because lights are awesome, and everyone should have awesome lights. These are working great, I ordered the 375 lights, drilled all my holes, and I have 15 extra strands, so that's cool. I used a 1/16 drill bit, and it was nice and snug. Please note, some strands are slightly thicker/thinner than others. I had to move the project to a better location when threading through the holes, and accidently snapped a strand. So take caution and care. The power box gets warm, but it didn't get hot, mine will be tucked up in a corner. It took 4.5 hours to thread them through a 4'x4' square. Highly reccomend. I created a grid and added some constellations. I had roughly 23-25 holes in each square. Took 20 mins to drill all the holes. ... show more

So easy to install just time consuming, installed a 860kit to my f150 and it’s been working everyday. I drive my truck a lot and have it on all day. When I got the windows down it’s definitely an attention grabber which is a downside but the upside is you get a lot of interactions with new people. Most common question I get is “where and how’d did I get that” the app is great and connects instantly so you can control its features and colors.
