This gaming stick blew me away! I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but it completely exceeded my expectations. It’s packed with over 20,000 retro games across 23 emulators, and they all load up quickly with no lag. The graphics are surprisingly crisp for older titles, and the 4K HDMI output looks great on my TV. Setup was super simple — literally plug and play. The wireless controllers connected instantly and feel comfortable to use. Battery life has also been good so far. I love that it comes preloaded with so many classics — everything from NES and SNES to PlayStation and arcade games. It’s perfect for casual gaming nights or reliving childhood favorites. There are no subscription fees or accounts to set up, which is a bonus. And it’s portable, so I can take it to friends’ houses or use it on the go. A lot of the reviews here are very similar and appear to be botted, so here's a real one. The "console" does work as advertised pretty much out of the box, but here's a few quirks I noticed: 1) The device appears to be incompatible with older TVs. I intended to use it on a plasma flat screen TV I've had since ~2009 that refuses to die. The TV does have HDMI but is only 720p. I'm not sure if it's an incompatibility with the older HDMI standard or the lower resolution but all I got was a black screen. It worked fine on the newer TVs (1080p/4k) in my house so bear in mind if you have a "retro" setup you're planning to use this with, such as an old CRT or projection TV that has HDMI, it may not work. 2) The controllers are ok but not optimal. I noticed when playing a fighting game against my son that you can't easily "rock" the D-Pad from side to side. IE: If you're pressing “R” on the D-Pad, you often can't just slide your thumb over to "L". It doesn't respond and your character just stands there. You need to completely release R and then press L. Kind of a pain but not a deal breaker, really depends on your play style. 3) The included micro-USB power cord is far too short if your TV doesn’t have a USB port and you have to use a power block (it doesn’t come with one). Check out your situation before ordering and make sure you have what you need. 4) The lists are tedious to navigate. There might be a “scroll whole page” ability but I haven’t found it yet. On the plus side the graphics are great with no splotchiness you’d typically see connecting an old console to a modern TV. The UI is well organized & responsive, and games launch smoothly. Definitely worth the $40 but because of the controller issue I would say it’s best suited for casual gameplay, not competitive. With better controllers I would absolutely give this 5/5 stars, and even be willing to pay a few more bucks for them. ... show more

    • CONTROLS ARE TRASH! CANT PLAY SHOOTER GAMES

Good concept but a HUGE waste of money and wish I never purchased! Has a bit of fun games to play. Only problem is, the controls are CRAP!! On any game that involves shooting and moving around. You can only use the right joystick to walk forwards and backwards. Leaving the left joystick useless!! There is no way you can actually play the shooting games because it’s impossible to aim at ANYTHING! You literally CANT look up or down. Only side to side and walk forwards and backwards. Other games that don’t need to look up, down and side to side work fine. But if the game needs you to use those actions then good luck playing it. Save half your money and get the $27 one on Amazon and just wait the week for it to show. This one was definitely or worth the money I spent. Only going to use 2-3 games at most and the rest are just to have. Don’t recommend this product. 1 month Update! I added a few stars because! Yes, I still stand with controllers being bad! And shooter games not being playable! BUT!!!! It does have some games that do make it 100% worth it!! It has a lot of classics like “super Mario bros” “Dig dug” “Galaxian” “Mortal Kombat” and multiple “Pokémon” games. Absolutely zero reviews tell you what games are on it. But these are definitely on there. I have had the time of my life Replaying the Pokémon games! The controls are still different from what it tells you. The “A” button is actually “B” and vice versa. So play with the buttons backwards. It’s not a huge deal because you do get use to it. But selecting a game it’s normal, “A” button is correct and so on and so forth. But when playing almost ANY game the “A” button will actually be the “B” button and the “B” button will be “A” so keep that in mind. But I did have to edit the review because I would buy this again if it was a tad cheaper and had the Pokémon games on it. Also, the controller will act like I’m spamming the trigger buttons even if not pressing. So you’ll have to take the batteries out and put them back in to stop it. I have to do this 1-2 times each time I play. I usually play for about 2-3 hours at a time so not great but not horrible. There are problems that I’ve mentioned but to be honest I got use to them and still SUPER enjoy this system! Definitely would recommend for a 1 time purchase but have definitely been looking for a second one for a little cheaper. Looking for a console like this for around $30 with at least Pokémon on it but zero reviews will tell you what games are on it. So gonna take a chance lol n one soon and review it eventually. Last time! Definitely is worth it for a 1 time purchase, but would definitely buy again if it was more around the $30 rang not $50. ... show more

And the controllers are what you pa for but they work and no issues as of yet, but so far my wife loves it, great value for money spent and what you get ... show more
