The media could not be loaded. Install was simple, I looked back at photos of this item to understand how to wire as it came with no instructions. I used spare screws I had to secure the two electrical components to the car so they are not flopping around under the hood. Also had to drill holes into the car to install the voltage display and the speed control knob between the cars radio and steering wheel. Car works with all Ryobi batteries and actually seems faster.

Exactly what was needed for my kids ride on vehicle. Had a different setup from the ones I saw on YT d/t the remote control part but figured it out amd works great. Better power and will soon test for ride time. Thanks to the other reviewer with the photo.

Works great can really zip around on a 20 volt battery only downside and the only reason why it got a four-star is because the cables were wires aren't long enough and it's very hard to route certain things and put them where you want them.

The kit seems pretty good. The issue is the controller gets very hot and overheats with like maybe 20 minutes of use. This causes it to shut down and stop working until the controller cools off. The whole point of this is to allow you to use drill batteries and swap them out as needed. But the controller overheats before a 4AH battery drains completely. Then you need to let it sit for at least 30 minutes before I you can use it again (depending on the temp outside). I'll be looking for another controller to use with it at this point.

Stopped working, tested and it was working, after final install stopped working. Would like a replacement but Amazon isn't even allowing me to navigate to a replacement option, so I have to return this one and order a new one instead of just being able to order a replacement.
