This is a great upgrade for anyone who has the harbor freight tire changer! Just change 4 new tires on our van with this. Makes all the difference when trying not to damage the rims! Had to grind some corrosion off my tire changer to get the cone to fit. Easily mounted on the tire changer. The duck bill is strong plastic which I was concerned about but held up great! Easily fit in the tire and popped those tires of like nothing. The square tubing was design for the square end of the tire iron. Slides on and off the tire changer like it was designed for it. A MUST HAVE FOR A HARBOR FREIGHT TIRE CHANGER. turns the rim destroyer 4000 into an actual usable piece of equipment. The centering cone only works for aluminum rims and not steel but they still work with the stock clamp type . Duckhead isnt too flimsy and works for removing very tight sxs tires. Dont even try using the tire changer in its stock format before buying this, i have 5 years of professional tire changing experience and it took me about an hr just to get the first bead off. This thing can do it in 5 min.

Adding this to my HF Tire Changer only made the job ONE HUNDRED TIMES EASIER. It made my HF tire changer usable. I almost didn't have to screw down the feet to a board but I didn't want it tipping over while I was kneeling on the tire to counter act the duck. This is a must have and every thing worked perfectly.

first off it has potential just needs to be modified a little bit straight out of the box the main piece that swivels around the center had a flat edge so it wouldn’t even go on the center post so I had to hammer that out and file down the burrs and got it to fit no problems there then I go to use it to remove the tires I got the top bead off easily just as described but then I try to remove the bottom bead off but the bar that allows you to slide the duck head to and from the center post is to long I can not pick the tire up high enough to get the bottom bead onto the duck head I’ve tried from the top and the bottom cannot get it on the duck head the whole reason why I got this is to make life easier to change tire and not damage them with traditional tire spoons well that definitely did not happen so I either have to chop some of the bar off cause I’m changing 20 inch tires and it’s sticking out to far and that’s the biggest tire on our vehicles so it will work fine for me but I don’t like the fact that as soon as I get it out of the box I have to start modifying so that’s why it’s not 5 stars but will still work just have to modify it

I bought two of these, one for a female friend of mine and one for myself, she sent me a video of her trying to use it and I got the idea that she thought the tire would come off and go on by magic. I suggest you watch video's on how to use it and pay attention to the details; there is one way to take the tire off and another for putting it on, it seems well made and she was impressed with the quality of it.

I bought this after watching YouTube reviews of a similar one, this one just happened to be a good price and arrived sooner than the competition. I've never used my portable tire changer from Hazard Fraught, but after watching videos on YT of how to use THAT, this device was reviewed over and over as the best upgrade, and they weren't wrong!! However, the HF bar doesn't exactly fit in the end of the square pipe to use it as leverage, but it wasn't really an issue. As far as THIS device is concerned, I personally like the handle style. It is spring loaded, so you pull out to readjust, which I find more convenient that the fixed style I saw on other models. It's simple to use: draw the duck bill bar in to the rim, once the height is set, you don't have to change it for multiple tires, just the in/out. The silver cone was too small for my 6 lug trailer tire centers, so having a bigger cone would have been better for my use. I just eye balled it and it was fine. Some of the other kits had the bigger cone, but not knowing that was an issue, I didn't pursue those options. I will probably buy one as an add on. All in all for my use, I removed 4 tires and installed 4 tires, and there was a learning curve, but it was easy! Also, LUBE LUBE LUBE your tires/rims and duck bill. I just used dawn and water, but that makes all the difference!

Works great. The duckhead feels cheap but it got the job done. I did not use this as designed. I made an adapter a nd slid this over the screw on my coats 2020 machine in order to do low profile tires on aluminum rims for a canam spider.
