I normally do not write reviews for anything, but if this review saves just one person from purchasing this sellers crap products, my time was not wasted. If I go out to eat and my steak is not how I ordered it, I just say it is fine and eat it anyway, but just do not go spend my hard earned money at that restaurant anymore, simple as that. 1st Of all, I contacted the seller to explain the problem, but was told they will not do anything for support as these calipers were beyond their "6 month" warrenty🙄 I travel the country as a service technician, and also have been a life long mechanic. These started leaking within 2 months from when I installed all new brakes, calipers and rotors, but was not able to investigate the issue right away as I was working a very busy schedule away from home, and the leak was manageable with adding fluid until I got back home. I just figured something had loosened up. After disassembly (and then replacement again with new ones again from a better supplier), shown here are the machined surfaces on the face of the mating halves of the caliper and pocket where the o-ring seats. It could have been smoother if it was chewed to size by a beaver with somewhat sharp teeth, lol. Not shown but even more important, the o-ring pocket is .060" deep, but the thickness of the o-ring that is in there is only .058" thick 🤦♂️ Even if you're not a mechanical person and that doesn't make any sence to you, just understand that these calipers are very crappy made with as poor of quality as I have ever seen. Luckily, I did not purchase the brake pads or rotors from this seller, only the calipers. This can be a very dangerous situation as your breaks bleed off and stop braking as the fluid also soaks the pads. The thing that inspired me to even write this review, is that I am so sick and tired of everyone in todays society having absolutely no concern for making a quality product, and more so, not caring in the least to hear about issues with their products. This is how you have continuous improvement in your products and also keep happy repeat customers, it's not complicated. It's all about the money nowadays and customer service is out the window. Its not even the $100 and time that I threw away on these complete crap calipers, as I'd probably pay $100 to watch 2 flies dance, its the point that no on gives a crap anymore. Again, you get what you pay for, so if your reading this, you are obviously looking to buy calipers for your Toyota. I highly recommend to look for another seller, thanks for your time. ... show more

    • UPDATED REVIEW: Fit, finish and cost are thumbs up!
Product seems well made, and was a perfect match, but even though I bled the brakes twice, there seems to be too much travel before the brakes engage. But the car stops well and straight (I replaced both front calipers) so they do work and fit perfectly, Just they do seem to engage differently than my original calipers. REVIEW UPDATE: As of May 2022, I had to replace one caliper as the seem down the middle of the caliper (where both halves meet) started leaking badly, sidelining my vehicle, ruining the brake pads. Had to replace the caliper and front pads again due to the leak. In addition, the leaking fluid destroyed the paint on my wheels (rims) - now they look terrible. So far the other caliper isn’t leaking, but I’m wary that I’ll have to replace that one at some point. Update as of June 10,2022: well, as predicted above, the drivers side caliper started leaking, and so I had to replace that one today. So, both calipers, while they looked nicely made, seem to have a defect in either assembly, or parts or both, causing them to leak. It’s now way past the time I could have returned these, so I wound up paying more money and spending more time than if I had purchased a higher quality product to begin with. Order went great. Calipers are great, but unfortunately my 2000 toyota tundra has 2 sizes and ones ordered didn't fit. It stated they will and didn't specify the size. Seller was understanding and gave full refund. Was in a bind so purchased elsewhere. Came with everything you need, locking tabs, pins and clips. Package was good and solid build. ... show more
