I have a heavy wood bed that I love. But it’s over 25 years old with constant use. So it has had supports replaced and has developed way too many squeaks and creaks. After carefully measuring out the inside dimensions I realized this solid metal frame would fit perfectly inside the outside rails and raise the bed up about an inch above the side support ledges. It went together very easily with the Allen wrench (8 bolts) included. The bed is now solid and silent!! I got to keep my well loved heavy bed frame, just remove the center support and slats and upgrade the support to this frame. I’m so happy that this provided a drop in solution at a very reasonable price.

I love that this frame is only 6” high, it has curved edges, and was incredibly easy to put together. Works great for my King size mattress and seems to be very sturdy. It does come with four bed slats that have a rubber adhesive on them to prevent the mattress from sliding. However, I don’t think they worked as well as I would have liked them to. So I bought mattresses gaskets and attached them to the frame. Now it’s perfect.

Pros: Heavy and durable, but yet still light to move the 4x twin mattresses on top around. The corners are rounded and not sharp at all. The sale price is definitely worth buying. The 10 inch space below is enough to buy plastic storage bins to hide underneath.
