    • Easy install, all buttons on remote is nice.
Fairly easy to install. It is heavy so you have to find a good place to secure it. I put the control box under my dash then ran the wires to the battery and speaker from there. I connected directly to the battery and there's no parasitic draw on the battery. I like having the controls all on the remote, takes up less space in the center console. Pretty loud and good variety of sounds. ... show more

    • Lots to like, but speaker/microphone is too muffled to be useful
This is way louder than the slim-speaker 200w unit I have on my other vehicle. I tried this one because my other one is horrible - completely incoherent - when talking through it. I read the reviews for this one, and it was pretty unanimous that this unit was "loud and clear". Well, not mine. I've sent a note to the seller to see if there is something wrong with my speaker or mic. As for the other aspects, there's a lot to like: Size of main unit: It's small enough to fit under the dash - though I did opt to put mine under the driver's seat Speaker disassembles: This is great to get it past bumper/radiator pinch points, mount, and then reinstall the bell. I was able to get it into an ideal spot, which would not have been possible without the ability to disassemble. Volume control: There are four levels. The lowest is quiet enough that you can "test" the different options without annoying your neighbors. The loudest is enough to make your eyes water. Mount design: Is great for bumpy roads. It requires an intentional tilt of the mic/controller to get it to release. That should keep it put on less than smooth trails. Cabling: Plenty long enough to reach from my battery to under my seat (for power). I did have to extend the two green wires to make it to the bumper, but using some heat shrink butt-connectors makes that a snap. Since this is on my daily driver (and not my firefighter POV), I'll probably keep it despite the poor PA performance. If it turns out there is something wrong and the seller gets it resolved, I'll come back to update this review. ... show more
