Very good water heater for the price. This is the biggest you can get that will run in just one 60a breaker. I installed it in my mom’s house to replace an old tank water heater and she absolutely loves it. Never runs out of hot water and you can easily adjust the water temp. Was super easy to install. Just one 60A breaker and one length of #6 2 wire. Will never go back to a tank again. And it’s just big enough so you can take a shower and not burn up if some one uses the toilet or runs the sink. Love it. Make sure if you connect cpvc to it you use the proper female connector on the hot side outlet that goes from the metal threads back to 1/2”cpvc. You have to use the metal to plastic adaptor. If not it can melt or blow off. ... show more

We have been using this unit for almost year. It performs well but does have quantity limit (can't supply enough water for dish washer and laundry at the same time). If you have well water, advise installing a separate, easy to clean out, filter.

We bought this and had it installed when our old water heater was going out. It sucks. Water temp changes so much that the bath never gets hot. We have it set for 140 degrees and it has never gotten that warm. The output it say it can do is incorrect. The temp ranges between 100 and 119 and it’s been 60s and 70s here. It barely heats. If we want a bath we have to boil water on the stove. It fluctuates during a shower when nothing else is using water. Don’t buy. I think it’s defective or just junk. Now we wasted money and have to have another heater installed. ... show more

Super easy to install, no problems at all. Works perfectly, heating water immediately. Choose this model because we have hard water and this one states that the heating element doesn't contact the water. So hopefully it will last ! We will see in a few years.

Before buying an electric water heater consider your household size and usage. We have a household of 3 and 4 when my daughter's home from college. This size has worked for us amazingly during back to back showers. However we don't use hot water to wash clothes either. I had an electrician install it because we switched from gas to electric, which was a great choice and space saver. It's easy to reset when the power has went out. We have now had this installed and running for almost 9 months. Very very pleased well its performance. It makes hot water instantly and really does a good job. We have it in a small tiny home and it is plenty to provide hot water at the kitchen sink while somebody is taking a shower. Just recommended it to a friend of mine. Easy to install.
