These bolts, and specifically the conical rubber washer that comes with them, really do what they claim. They completely stop the toilet seat from moving. Even if the nuts would loosen up a bit the seat won't move. Very easy to install too. After installing one set, I immediately ordered enough sets to replace all of the bolts on all of my seats. Bought a new toilet seat about 3 months ago. Within two weeks the plastic bolts would loosen causing the seat to shift when you sat down. After a tightening them once a week, they would still loosen. After 2 months the bolts slipped through the brackets and down to the floor. The toilet seat itself was fine, so decided to try these bolts instead of buying a new seat. If you have a toilet seat that moves, this is the ultimate answer. I have an oversized toilet of which the seat bolts needed replacing. Regular replacements don’t work. This was such a simple installation, and did the job.
