This set seems to be very solid and legitimate stainless steel (instead of chrome plated steel or others you see on other sites that rust quickly). They are thicker than Most brackets and I think they will last a lifetime so then we'll probably outlast the wood and other materials you are screwing it into. I'm building some radiator covers out of oak and wanted to have a few strength points as the front and back are mostly open. Took a chance on these and was pleasantly surprised. Heavy duty and plenty of screw holes to be able to use in different scenarios. They come in a nice little plastic box for storage if I don't use them all at the same time. I'm a retired guy with a woodshop in the basement. Having corner braces for things like shoring up a chair or building shelves is a constant need around here. You get 20 of these for $14! What a bargain. Try finding these for that price at the big box store. Unfortunately, as often is the case with inexpensive hardware, they come with substandard screws. To be honest, with things like this, I usually just toss the screws anyway and use higher quality ones, usually square drive. So I couldn't give them a full five stars because of that. These BellRhein Universal Stainless Steel Furniture Corner Connectors really work. I first used them to reenforce an assemble-yourself shelf from that Nordic furniture store. They are really effective and my top tip Nortic furniture store shelves is to drill pilot holes and put a little carpenter's glue in those holes before putting the screws in. I also tried them on a couple of drawers that had issues and they worked horizontally as well. At a current price of $9 for twenty pieces, including 140 screws, I think this is a good value. ... show more
