Replaces quickly and cheaply
This remote control has been an excellent alternative for my Apple TV 4K. The configuration was simple and worked without problems. The buttons respond very well, they have a comfortable feeling when pressed and navigation is fluid. The design is practically the same as the original, light and easy to hold. I liked that it includes the essential buttons such as volume, play/pause, silence and access to the menu, which makes the daily experience very comfortable. The quality of the materials feels good and, so far, it has worked perfectly without disconnections or delays. It's an excellent option if you need to replace the original control or just have an additional one at home. I totally recommend it for those who have a 4K Apple TV and are looking for a reliable and economical alternative to the original control.Excellent price-product ratio.

Doesn't work and the buttons fail
This is the third remote I have had to return within 3 weeks. I bought this one because of the great review although there is only one review and I thought since it cost more than $40, it would be high quality, wrong! The mute button doesn't work and the power button doesn't turn on the Apple TV. I used my original Apple TV remote to turn it on and tried the IR remote. The must button, the power button and the menu button do not work. So frustrating because it is an hour drive to UPS to return it. I would say no matter if you spend $40+ or $10 for a remote, the chance you get one that works perfectly is very iffy. Three different Apple TV remotes from three different sellers and none worked. Think long and hard before you purchase anything but an origin genuine Apple Remote.

I’m really impressed with this replacement remote. It paired quickly with my Apple TV and all the essential functions work perfectly. The physical buttons are responsive, comfortable to use, and actually make navigation easier than a touchpad. I also like that it can control the TV’s power and volume, so I only need one remote. The build quality feels solid, the design is sleek, and it offers excellent value for the price. The biggest weakness isn't it's cheap construction.
Setting aside the comments others have made about flimsy construction (and they're true), the biggest weakness is that, unlike the Apple remote, which uses a radio signal, this one uses infrared. That means you have to hold the remote so it points directly at the Apple TV 4K or television for it to work, which affects reliability. That said, the control does what it is advertised to do. Handling it with reasonable care solves the flimsy construction issue. It was cheap enough that I kept it instead of sending it back.

I’m extremely happy with this Apple TV remote! The design is sleek, modern, and feels premium thanks to its solid aluminum body. Not quality, doesn’t last.
Worked for a day then stopped. 1 week later. The repair option they provide of holding those two buttons to fix it doesn’t work either. Don’t waste your money. Update: ordered a replacement just in case it was a faulty product. The new one works perfectly so far. Increasing Star review.

Apple TV
I loved this remote control for Apple TV. It is very practical, responds quickly and the buttons are easy to use. The connection works very well and makes controlling the Apple TV much more comfortable. In addition, it has a simple and modern design. Very good purchase and totally recommended!

Definitely not the original
Has to be fairly close to the apple TV for it to work. Also doesn't control all of the actions that the original remote did.
