I bought an LG 55" TV, but grew to hate the Magic Wand remote. It is out of control and jumps all over the screen. I bought this remote to solve the problem and it did. It worked right out of the box and, thankfully, does not have th magic want capabilities. The original remote is now my back-up.

Worked right away without any issues. Also suddenly stopped working without any reason after about 2 months. Tried replacing batteries and still wouldn't work. I had my old remote which was working - just the case was broken so the batteries kept popping out. I opened up both remote cases, swapped the board from the old OEM remote to this case, had to snip two plastic pieces that hold the new case together to close it all back up. Long story short, I basically paid for a new plastic case to house my OEM remote board in.
