First interface I have gotten. I am old and like tracking on physical media. This is a great unit. Works with Logic Pro on a Mac M2 really well. My friend has the apollo 2 channel and he said these preamps sound as good as the more expensive unit. Love the design, ease of setup and use, and features.     • High quality audio interface.
For the price you get great audio quality, which is always my main decision when purchasing a unit such as this. A solid build and can be bus powered thru the usb-c port. Very compact and makes a good portable addition when used with a laptop with USB-C ports that can supply power. Not sure I would ever use the midi ports on the back as I use usb midi keyboard etc. There are a few quirks that gives my rating a 4 star instead of 5. The main one being the unit is fairly sensitive to input gain and is somewhat difficult to set properly with only two LEDs to set the level. The other is how the direct monitoring works vs audio coming from the computer. You can not adjust or balance the level between the two with this unit when recording and using the direct monitoring functions. When recording while playing previous recorded tracks you will need to adjust the playback from the computer using your DAW software if using the direct monitoring functions. Not a huge deal but one I think UA should correct in the future. It would be better to ditch the midi ports and add a better input LED display and add some method of balancing the playback from the DAW vs the direct input signal coming from a mic or instrument. I have not tried the Vintage function but assume it works as stated by UA. All in all a good purchase vs the competition. ... show more

Super simple and great sounding. I use this for a professional radio show. It’s the in between for my mic & computer. I was considering going for something a lot more expensive but so glad I didn’t because this sounds awesome and was very affordable compared to other options. I was using a Shure MVi interface previous to this and the difference in sound quality is a lot. So glad I upgraded. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Worked for 12 months with no issue, suddenly died
Worked really well for about a year, then it started having power issues. I primarily use this for audio output on a PC, occasionally using it for instruments. It is a very good product and I was happy with it, unfortunately it started losing power randomly, until it fully stopped working. When it turns on now, it flashes multiple different lights in a pattern which I assume is an error code. Yes, I have tried different computers, different cables, and different methods of powering it. It worked super well for a year. I sent in a request for RMA and depending on how that goes, I will change my review Edit: changing to 1 star, down from 2. It has been 5 days and I have not received back any word from their support other than automated responses. I'm not being a nasty consumer, I simply requested to start the RMA process and they have not sent the forms to start it. Again, I will edit my review based on how the RMA process goes. ... show more
