(Review Updated) As a car play it's easy to install and works well so far, and it does do what it made for as other car play. The issue is that the backup camera won't activate automatically when the gear shift is on reverse, and I had to to find alternative way to make it work but still not automatically by reversing. The customer service reached out to me and tried to help me with all possible options, they stand by their product and were responsive, attentive and professional and won't give up on you without finding a reasonable solution, the service I have received from all especially Joey is outstanding and it's unfair to not update my review and mention this good service. For the most part I managed to connect most of the wires however my XM radio, microphone and backup camera don’t work! Obviously I needed another harness for my 2914 Rav4. This unit looks so smooth in my 2016 RAV4. It makes my car look much fancier than it is. It's tricky to install because there are some wires you won't actually connect from the vehicle, but easy to use once it's in. I had an issue with mine but the seller helped me figure it out. Purchased this stereo to replace an old advent stereo in my 2010 RAV4 Sport. I love it! It looks great and was fairly easy to install. Perfect fit! Instructions were not so great, a couple of the wire colors were labeled wrong ( I think it was the brown and blue wires) but I matched it up on the location in the photo and the location on the photo in the instructions was correct.I'm not sure if the factory metal brackets just bolt on because I had aftermarket brackets. It was secure without them but I made the advent brackets I had work after drilling holes in the metal to make it more secure. Nothing had to really be modified to install. Not sure what's up with the review that has the butchered interior. lol must have been the wrong year RAV4 for this stereo. Again, it fit perfect in my 2010. You can pop the plastic interior parts off with a credit card or plastic pry bars for interior trim work so you don't scratch the plastic. Be carful not to lose the plactic clips, a couple of mine dropped into the console. I looked up youtube videos on how to remove the radio. The factory plugs fit perfectly, and the steering wheel controls work. (Mine did NOT have the JBL system) The interface it comes with works but I wasn't very fond of it. I installed the Agama Car Launcher for $1.99 to replace it.. way better! (Photos of main screen is Agama, radio photo is the radio app that comes with it works with Agama). I tried a couple different free car launchers but they were a little slow and buggy IMO. It took me some time to figure out all the settings like start up volume so it doesn't blast music from the start. lol It will take some time to get your prefered settings and default apps setup but IMO that is part why I like this stereo. If you don't like an app then you can change it. This is pretty much an android tablet with extra factory settings to work with your car controls. So there is tons of option/apps in the Google play store to customize. Radio reception in ok but could be better, might be my antenna wire, I had a cut in it. Works tethered to your cell or just through bluetooth (less option because no internet access through bluetooth). Screen mirroring didn't work well at all for me, I'd say don't bother with it. Perhaps with some tweaking it could work but I don't need it anway. All I can think of at the moment, I hope this helps! Overall I'm super happy with it. ... show more

I purchased this radio on May 2021, installation was pretty much straightforward, at the beginning the microphone and the GPS do not work well, I figure for the price you can ask for more but after a week the USB port keeps disconnecting from Annie device that I plug-in ( iPhone XS and galaxy s9. )

Update: After about two years of usage the unit started acting up , it would boot to the settings screen, it would take forever to get a response when clicking on any application so I did a factory restore hoping to clear up whatever the issue is and start over clean. What’s mistake that was. Now nothing works at all, I only get it to boot up to the radio screen none of the touch buttons work including the volume, the Home Screen the off button. I’m taking my 5 star review down to 1. Update: The issue I have is with the touch buttons, nothing works. Is there a way to reset that ? I can’t even get to the Factory settings screen to reset it Update No respond from the vendor so I had to remove the unit and go back to the original Toyota stereo. You get what you pay for. You don’t really appreciate the value of support until you need it. AVOID this product. ... show more

This Radio was very easy to install. I watched several YouTube videos before attempting. I didn’t install rear view camera. So I cannot comment on that. You do not need to buy additional mounting equipment it clips right in. So far everything connected well, bluetooth and wifi. I tried listening to music and making calls everything sounds good. FM radio also sounds well picks up my favorite stations. Touch screen responds well. It took me a while to figure out how to set the correct time and date.
