Same quality as OEM plates for a fraction of the price. On the smooth plate make sure to use some sort of release agent as filament can literally rip the coating off the plate due to over adhesion but that's just a quirk with smooth pei plates

I bought this smooth build plate about a week ago and initially thought it was great. Unfortunately, after only a few prints, bubbles started forming on the smooth side. With each subsequent print, the bubbling became progressively worse and eventually began affecting print quality, leaving voids and defects in the bottom layer. Since this was purchased through Amazon, I returned it as defective and received a replacement. The replacement arrived yesterday, and after printing PETG on the smooth side, the same issue appeared almost immediately. Every area that was printed on has already started bubbling. I cannot recommend this product. I have another smooth-finish plate with a carbon fiber appearance that I've been using regularly for over a year without any issues, so this was especially disappointing. The fact that two plates failed in exactly the same way suggests a quality problem with the product itself. Very disappointing. Will be returning again.

I like the coarser texture

Can't speak to the performance, long term or with larger parts but I'm making multiple runs of these small, 2.5mm thick ASA parts. With their pointy features, over compression of the 1st layer would look like poo. This build plate has a rougher texture than the original that came with my CC1 which I think acts more like a raft making the 1st layer less sensitive while still providing the required adhesion. After cooling and some moderate bending the parts stay barely attached making it east to pluck them off.

The adhesion is to good. Very difficult to pull prints odd on the smooth side. Printed a plate of clicker key caps and when removing the surface tore and came off on the print.

this build plate has very good adhesion for asa cf08 when it is new. however after a month of heavy use I had to replace it due to wear. you may get more longevity out of it if you don't have your printer running 24/7 like i do.
